New to Rockstar’s archive is not necessarily new to the public
An image appearing in Rockstar’s permanent gallery for the first time does not prove it was first revealed to the public on that date. Rockstar Report noted that at least one image described in surrounding coverage as never-before-seen had circulated before it was added to the archive. The distinction is between a new addition to Rockstar’s official gallery and a first public appearance.
GTA 6 release date and platforms
Rockstar’s official game page lists Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a release date of November 19, 2026. It also links to the media and artwork archive.

Rockstar’s current media archive, accessed October 3, 2026, lists 99 screenshots and 23 artwork and wallpapers. These are catalogue counts for separate media categories, not a claim that 99 images were all newly released in one update.
