Robin Singh, Team Director of Royal Desert Champions, says the franchise wants to establish a lasting legacy in the Abu Dhabi T10. The remark came in an announcement about the team’s planned entry in the 2026 competition, which the announcement said was scheduled for November 7–20.

Singh also described the recruitment approach, saying the team had pre-signed Nicholas Pooran, Phil Salt and Sherfane Rutherford before pursuing leading bowlers.
