What is Rivage about?
Set in the 25th century, Rivage follows a mission to study VESTA, a planet considered as a possible new home for humanity. After a space phenomenon catches the A.R.E.S. station and its crew, Miranda awakens alone. The central mystery is what happened to the station and the people aboard it.
The story is pieced together through the environment rather than delivered only as a single explanation: players can examine objects, research materials, journals, personal logs, messages, and encrypted communications, as well as explore newly accessible areas. Raw Fury describes the narrative as exploring isolation and human vulnerability.
How does the gameplay work?

Raw Fury describes the setting as fully interactable. Exploration involves inspecting artifacts and records, following clues, and using what Miranda finds to make progress through the station. Steam categorizes the game as a first-person, escape-room-style puzzle game.

Solve environmental and system puzzles
The publisher describes challenges that include repairing broken systems and realigning mechanisms, alongside puzzles involving gravity, magnetism, and time. These elements make the station itself part of the puzzle-solving: observation and interpreting the available clues matter as much as interacting with machinery.
Use the K9 System to carry knowledge forward
The K9 System records discoveries and retains selected puzzle solutions across resets. That means a reset does not necessarily require repeating every puzzle already solved. Raw Fury’s public descriptions do not establish that all progress persists or provide enough detail to explain precisely what triggers a reset, so it is safest to think of K9 as preserving some knowledge rather than guaranteeing a full save of progress.

When did Rivage release, and where can you play it?
Steam lists September 22, 2026 as the release date. Raw Fury lists the game for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Storefront availability and details can vary by region, so check the relevant store for current purchase information.
The PlayStation Store listing surfaced with an August 13, 2026 date, which conflicts with the later date shown on Steam and Raw Fury’s game page. The available listings do not establish that August 13 is a separate PlayStation release; treat it as stale listing metadata rather than evidence of a different launch date.

Who is Rivage for?
Rivage is aimed at players interested in first-person exploration, environmental puzzles, and a story uncovered through records and clues. Its official descriptions emphasize a solitary station setting, systems-based challenges, and a mystery about the missing crew.
