Riot’s official update entry, titled “RISE AND FALL // Hush Agent Trailer – VALORANT,” says the new Duelist will be available in Season 26 // Act VI. Riot has not yet published Hush’s complete ability kit, costs, cooldowns, map interactions or exact server unlock time, so the trailer establishes her identity and release window—not a finished gameplay specification.
When will Hush release in VALORANT?
Hush is scheduled for Season 26 // Act VI. That is the firmest timing Riot has announced. The October 18, 2026 reveal does not include a calendar date inside Act VI or a precise unlock hour, so players should not treat the announcement date as the playable launch date.

Riot’s official wording is: “New Duelist Agent available in Season 26 // ACT VI.” Until Riot publishes a patch note, agent page or in-client schedule with a specific date, the release should be described as an Act VI window rather than a confirmed day-and-time launch.

Hush is a new Duelist Agent. Duelists are VALORANT’s attack-oriented agents, generally designed to create openings, take space and convert advantages into eliminations. Riot’s reveal confirms the Duelist classification, but it does not disclose whether Hush specializes in entry movement, isolation, burst damage, information denial or another particular approach.

The trailer presents Hush through a reality-bending creative concept. “Bends reality” describes the reveal’s theme; it is not confirmation that Hush literally changes game physics or rewrites a map. Specific mechanics require an official ability description and playable testing.
What are Hush’s abilities?
Riot’s cited reveal materials do not provide a full ability table. The following details therefore remain unpublished:

That means there is no authoritative basis yet for calling Hush overpowered, meta-defining or a direct replacement for an existing Duelist. Those judgments need a complete kit, patch notes and live-match data.

A contemporaneous Dot Esports report describes Hush as originating from Guangdong, China and associates her with telekinetic, reality-bending imagery. Those are secondary-reporting details, not a complete biographical profile published in Riot’s cited reveal entry. They should be treated as provisional until Riot’s formal agent documentation confirms them.

Confirmed facts versus early reporting
| Question | Riot-confirmed information | Early or provisional information |
|---|---|---|
| Agent identity | Hush is a new VALORANT Duelist. | None needed to establish the role. |
| Reveal date | Riot published the reveal on October 18, 2026. | |
| Availability | Riot says Hush is available in Season 26 // Act VI. | An exact day and server unlock time are not stated. |
| Abilities | A complete kit is not stated in the cited reveal. | Telekinetic or reality-bending powers are descriptions associated with the trailer and secondary coverage, not confirmed mechanics. |
| Origin | Riot’s cited reveal does not provide a full origin profile. | Dot Esports reports Guangdong, China as Hush’s origin. |
How Hush compares with existing Duelists right now
At reveal stage, the useful comparison is about information quality rather than combat strength. Existing agents have published abilities, costs, cooldowns and patch histories; Hush does not yet have those public specifications in the cited Riot material.
| Comparison axis | Hush | Existing VALORANT agents |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Duelist | Roles and kits are documented in Riot’s agent information. |
| Release timing | Season 26 // Act VI | Each agent has an established release history. |
| Ability information | Complete kit not yet published in the reveal materials | Published abilities, costs and cooldowns are available for released agents. |
| Competitive evaluation | Too early to determine strength or meta impact | Can be assessed from live play and patch changes. |
What players should watch for next
- Riot’s formal agent page: This should establish the exact ability names, descriptions and costs.
- Patch notes or an Act VI schedule: These are the places most likely to clarify the playable date and unlock timing.
- Gameplay footage: Official demonstrations can show how the reality-bending theme translates into actual round mechanics.
- Competitive restrictions: If Riot applies a new-agent unlock period or tournament limitation, that policy will need to come from the relevant patch or event rules.
What is not known yet
No authoritative Hush statistics are published in the cited reveal: there are no damage values, cooldown numbers, player-count effects, balance measurements or server-release-hour figures. There is also no cited evidence of a Hush-specific physical product, collectible or accessory tied to this announcement. Players should avoid treating rumor-based kit diagrams or unverified launch times as final until Riot publishes the documentation.
