Ring has announced five security cameras in Spain spanning 4K and 2K, but the available report names only four. It lists three Spain prices and details for two indoor models and a floodlight camera; the fifth model and several Outdoor Camera 4K Plus specifications are not identified in the report. Cinco Días / El País Smartlife reported the lineup on October 7, 2026.
Which new Ring cameras are named?
The October 7, 2026 Spain report names four models from a five-camera announcement. The listed prices are the figures reported for Spain, not guaranteed current offers or prices for other markets.

| Model named in the report | Reported Spain price | Details reported |
|---|---|---|
| Ring Floodlight Camera 4K Plus | €219.99 | 4K video and a dual floodlight rated at 2,000 lumens. |
| Ring Indoor Camera 4K | €99.99 | 115-degree field of view, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and a physical privacy shutter. |
| Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera 2K | €69.99 | 360-degree horizontal pan, 175-degree tilt, motion detection and tracking. |
| Ring Outdoor Camera 4K Plus | Not stated in the report | Named, but the report passage does not provide detailed specifications. |
| Fifth camera | Not stated in the report | The report confirms five cameras overall but does not identify this model in the available passage. |
That means the lineup cannot be treated as a complete buying comparison yet: the fifth model, its price and its launch status are not established by the report. The Outdoor Camera 4K Plus is named, but details such as power, mounting and price are also absent.
How should you compare the cameras?
Start with the area you need to cover, then consider lighting, power, privacy and your network. Resolution alone does not determine whether a camera is the right fit.

- Lighting: The Floodlight Camera 4K Plus combines video with a dual floodlight rated at 2,000 lumens. That may suit a location needing active illumination; the report does not provide comparable illumination details for the other named cameras.
- Privacy: The Indoor Camera 4K is reported to have a physical privacy shutter. The source does not establish equivalent privacy hardware for the other models.
- Power and installation: Confirm each camera’s power source and mounting requirements on its local product page before choosing. The report passage does not specify them for these models.
- Local price and availability: Treat the figures above as reported Spain prices. Check Ring’s local listings for current price, exact model name and availability.
What does 4K or 2K mean for data and performance?
Higher resolution can require more internet data. Ring warns that 2K or 4K video may affect streaming and notification performance, and that battery-powered devices may drain faster. Ring also notes that network conditions affect video quality. A camera’s advertised resolution therefore does not guarantee that every stream will consistently appear at that resolution.
Ring’s UK support page lists devices that natively record and stream in 2K and 4K and explains data-usage settings for supported 4K devices. Because it is UK regional documentation, use the relevant local Ring help page for region-specific guidance.

Why might a Ring camera’s name look different?
Ring changed some product names in July and August 2026 to include resolution labels such as 2K and 4K. The company says those renamings did not change the devices’ hardware, firmware or features. A previously sold product may therefore appear under a different resolution-based name in the app or on Ring’s website; check the exact model rather than assuming that a naming change signals a new device.
