There is no universal winner. Dialpad is a strong option to evaluate if a lower displayed starting price and built-in AI transcription and call summaries matter most. RingCentral is worth a close look if your team depends on a broad integration ecosystem, higher meeting capacity on eligible tiers, or more advanced multi-site administration. The right choice depends on the exact plan, add-ons, region, billing term, and workflows your team needs.

RingCentral vs. Dialpad at a glance

Decision point RingCentral Dialpad
Displayed starting price Business.com reports $20 per user per month with annual billing or $30 month to month for its comparison; verify the current offer and plan. Business.com reports $15 per user per month with annual billing or $25 month to month. Dialpad’s phone page separately displays Standard at $15 and Pro at $25 per user per month, without clearly stating billing terms beside those prices.
AI features RingCentral describes an AI Assistant with transcription, summaries, action items, message drafting, translation, and video meeting highlights. Availability depends on product and plan. Dialpad’s feature matrix lists real-time transcripts, post-call summaries, transcript snippets, action items, and speech coaching across displayed plan categories. Availability can vary by country and plan.
Integrations RingCentral says it offers more than 330 integrations across more than 200 companies, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, and ServiceNow. Dialpad presents CRM integrations as a Pro benefit. Confirm that the specific app and actions your workflow needs are supported on the selected plan.
Numbers and fax RingCentral says its comparison includes 10,000 toll-free minutes and describes cloud fax and SMS as included; verify the applicable RingEX tier and terms. Dialpad’s feature matrix marks local and toll-free numbers and internet fax as paid or plan-dependent in the listed products.
Administration and scale RingCentral describes administrative and analytics functions on Advanced and Ultra plans. Business.com also reports higher meeting capacity on a higher tier. Dialpad lists multi-office management and 24/7 support as Pro benefits, and SSO and unlimited office locations as Enterprise benefits on its phone page.

These are not guarantees that a feature is included in every subscription. Check the current plan details and quote for your region before comparing costs or capabilities. RingCentral’s plans and pricing, Dialpad’s phone-system page, and Dialpad’s feature comparison provide vendor details; the independent comparison was updated by Business.com on September 24, 2026.

Compare itemized quotes for the same seat count, locations, features, and billing term. Include extra or toll-free numbers, fax, international calling, contact-center features, number porting, and any equipment. Dialpad’s feature matrix shows that some number and fax functions may require an additional purchase or plan-specific allowance, so an entry price alone does not establish which provider will cost less for your organization.

Which service has better AI features?

Dialpad is a compelling candidate if your priority is AI built into day-to-day calling, including real-time transcription and post-call summaries. Its feature comparison also lists transcript snippets, action items, and speech coaching across the displayed Connect, Support, and Sell plan columns. Live coach cards and custom moments are marked as paid or higher-tier features. Dialpad notes that AI availability can vary by country. For either provider, test the workflows that matter rather than comparing feature names alone: whether a transcript is available during a call or afterward, how summaries and action items are delivered, and whether the feature is enabled in your country and plan.

Which one is better for CRM integrations?

RingCentral is worth evaluating when you need breadth: the company says its catalog contains more than 330 integrations across more than 200 companies, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, and ServiceNow. That is RingCentral’s own count, not an independent audit. Dialpad describes CRM integrations as a Pro benefit on its phone page, while Business.com reports that its integration support increases beyond Dialpad’s entry plan.

Neither a large catalog nor a general CRM-integration claim guarantees the workflow you need. Before choosing, confirm the exact app, supported actions, setup method, and plan requirement with the provider. For example, verify whether the integration can log calls, associate activity with the right contact, and support the workflow your staff actually follows.

How do numbers, fax, support, and meetings compare?

Dialpad’s official feature matrix marks local and toll-free numbers and internet fax as paid or plan-dependent for the products shown. RingCentral’s vendor-authored comparison says its framing includes 10,000 toll-free minutes and describes cloud fax and SMS as included. Because this is RingCentral’s own competitive comparison, confirm the allowance, applicable RingEX tier, and usage terms in the quote rather than assuming the statement applies to every plan. RingCentral’s comparison page presents the vendor’s claim.

Business.com reports differences in meeting capacity, support, and uptime commitments, but those details can depend on tier. The available material does not establish one universal support or reliability commitment for every customer. Ask each provider to specify the applicable service-level agreement, support channel, and meeting limit for the exact product and region in your order form.

Which service fits a multi-site or larger team?

RingCentral describes administrative and analytics functions for Advanced and Ultra, and its broader integration catalog may be useful when a larger deployment spans multiple business systems. Business.com’s comparison also points to higher meeting capacity on a higher RingCentral tier. Confirm the capabilities and limits on the plan you are considering.

Dialpad lists multi-office management and 24/7 support as Pro benefits, and SSO and unlimited office locations as Enterprise benefits on its phone page. Confirm that these meet your administration, identity, support, and compliance requirements; the listed benefits do not by themselves establish suitability for every deployment.

How to choose between RingCentral and Dialpad

  • Evaluate Dialpad first if a lower displayed starting price and built-in transcription and post-call summaries are high priorities, and the needed numbers, fax, CRM links, and other features fit the selected plan.
  • Evaluate RingCentral first if your workflows depend on a broad integration catalog, advanced multi-site administration, or higher meeting capacity available on a higher tier.
  • Get comparable quotes if cost is the deciding factor. Use the same seat count, locations, billing term, number types, and feature requirements for both providers.
  • Check deployment details before signing: number porting, international calling, fax, support, recording retention, AI availability, integration behavior, and contract terms.

Cloud phone systems can also require desk hardware, but the available information does not validate a particular device or establish that a handset will work with both providers. Check each vendor’s current supported-device list against your intended deployment before buying phones.
