Revolut’s Street Mode can use trusted Wi-Fi networks as well as trusted locations. To add a network, connect your phone to it first, then look for the option in Revolut’s security settings. An independent report found the Wi-Fi setting working on iOS app version 10.149 and later, but Revolut does not publish that as a minimum-version requirement; Android availability is not confirmed by that report.
What Street Mode does
Street Mode is an optional in-app protection for outgoing transfers, and it is disabled by default. You can configure it around trusted locations, trusted Wi-Fi networks, or both. When you initiate a transfer above your chosen limit outside a trusted place or network, Revolut adds identity checks and a delay.

How to enable trusted Wi-Fi
- Update Revolut from your device’s app store, then open the app.
- Go to Profile → Security → Wealth Protection → Transfers.
- Enable Street Mode and follow the prompts to configure location-based protection and trusted locations and/or Wi-Fi.
- To add a Wi-Fi network, connect to that network first. Then add it through the Street Mode setup prompts. Trusted places and networks can be managed in the Transfers area of Wealth Protection.
- Choose the transfer limit above which Street Mode safeguards apply.

What happens to a transfer outside a trusted place or network
For a transfer above your limit, Revolut’s current Wealth Protection instructions describe an initial biometric authentication, followed by your configured delay and a second authentication to confirm the transfer. The available delay choices are 30 minutes, one hour, or six hours. After the delay ends, you have one hour to complete the second confirmation. Revolut’s Wealth Protection guidance
The Street Mode FAQ says the default delay is one hour and can be changed to 30 minutes or six hours. Some instant payment services may be declined if they exceed your configured limit and are initiated outside a trusted location. Street Mode FAQ

Why an app update matters—and what is confirmed
A Notebookcheck report published on 6 October 2026 says trusted Wi-Fi worked in its testing from Revolut iOS app version 10.149 onward. The report noted that older versions could show a Wi-Fi option in some places without providing the setting itself. This is an independent observation, not a version requirement published by Revolut.
