For Indian buyers, the OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G has the stronger published camera and battery specifications, while the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE lists a smaller battery and a different camera setup. But there is no reliable price gap to calculate from the available official listings: OPPO announced launch prices of ₹67,999 and ₹72,999, while Samsung’s India product page does not verify a current price. Check the live price for the exact storage variant before deciding on value.
India specifications at a glance
This comparison uses the India Reno15 Pro, model CPH2811, and the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE details on Samsung India’s product page. Samsung’s page resolves to an 8GB + 256GB listing; it should not be treated as proof that this is the only configuration available in India.

What the price difference does—and does not—tell you
OPPO’s published figures are launch prices in India, not confirmed current street prices: ₹67,999 for 12GB + 256GB and ₹72,999 for 12GB + 512GB. The Samsung India page reviewed does not establish a current price by matching storage tier. As a result, a precise price difference or a claim that either phone is cheaper would be unsupported.

How the specifications translate into a buying choice
Camera hardware: more resolution on OPPO’s spec sheet
The Reno15 Pro lists 200MP, 50MP and 50MP rear cameras, plus a 50MP autofocus front camera. Samsung lists 50MP, 12MP and 8MP rear cameras and a 12MP front camera; it specifies 3× optical zoom, compared with OPPO’s 3.5×. These figures describe hardware, not overall photo quality. Megapixel counts and zoom labels alone cannot establish which phone takes better pictures, and there are no comparable head-to-head test results here.

Battery and charging: capacity favors OPPO on paper
OPPO specifies a 6,500mAh typical battery and up to 80W wired charging, plus 50W wireless charging in its India launch release. Samsung specifies a 4,900mAh typical battery and claims up to 29 hours of video playback. Capacity and a manufacturer’s playback estimate are different measures; they do not show how long either phone will last under the same real-world use.
Display and handling: both are large 120Hz phones
Both phones list FHD+ displays with 120Hz refresh rates. OPPO’s panel is described as 6.78-inch-class and Samsung’s as 6.7-inch-class; the stated dimensions are close, though Samsung is lighter at 193g versus OPPO’s approximately 205g. The specification sheets do not establish a meaningful display-quality winner.

Performance: chipset names are not a speed test
The India models use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and Samsung Exynos 2500, respectively. Without comparable benchmarks or testing under the same conditions, those names alone do not support a claim that one phone is faster.
Software support: compare the promises as written
OPPO’s India launch release promises five major ColorOS version updates and six years of security updates. Samsung’s India product page gives a security update period through September 30, 2033. These are not identical kinds of commitments, so compare the wording and date rather than treating them as a directly ranked guarantee.

Check the Reno15 Pro model before buying
OPPO sells different regional Reno15 Pro variants. The India model is CPH2811, with a 6.78-inch-class display, 6,500mAh typical battery and approximately 205g weight. OPPO Global’s CPH2813 is a separate, smaller model: it lists a 6.32-inch display, 6,200mAh typical battery and 187–188g weight. Do not combine CPH2813 specifications with CPH2811 India launch pricing.

Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Reno15 Pro if its India launch-price configurations fit your budget and you value its higher-resolution camera hardware, larger stated battery capacity, or advertised wired and wireless charging speeds.
- Consider the Galaxy S26 FE if its current Indian price, lighter listed weight, Samsung software experience or your preferred camera results make it the better fit. Confirm the price and available storage configuration before comparing value.
- Do not choose by chipset or megapixels alone. The published specifications do not settle real-world speed, battery endurance or camera quality.
