Display and performance: OnePlus prioritizes speed
| Specification | Redmi Note 17 Pro | OnePlus Nord CE 6 |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED, up to 120Hz | 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED, up to 144Hz |
| Processor | Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 | Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 |
| Memory | 8GB LPDDR4X | 8GB LPDDR5 |
| Storage | 128GB UFS 2.2 or 256GB UFS 3.1 | 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 |
The Nord CE 6 has the higher-tier listed processor, LPDDR5 memory and a higher maximum refresh rate. That makes it the stronger listed hardware choice for someone prioritizing those specifications, but the available comparison does not include benchmark scores or gaming tests. A 144Hz panel can support a higher refresh rate than 120Hz; actual results depend on the content and settings in use.
The Redmi screen is 0.05 inches larger diagonally. Its storage specification also varies by capacity: the 128GB model is listed as UFS 2.2, while the 256GB model uses UFS 3.1. The OnePlus comparison lists UFS 3.1 for both capacities. These are specification differences, not a measure of how much faster either phone will feel in every task.

|---|---|---|
| Main rear camera | 50MP with OIS | 50MP with OIS |
| Additional rear camera | 8MP ultrawide | 2MP depth sensor |
| Front camera | 16MP | 32MP with autofocus |
The Redmi has a dedicated ultrawide camera, useful when you want a wider field of view than the main camera provides. The OnePlus has a higher-resolution listed front camera with autofocus. Both have a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), but megapixel counts and listed features alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video.
Battery and charging: capacity is not measured endurance
| Specification | Redmi Note 17 Pro | OnePlus Nord CE 6 |
|---|---|---|
| Listed battery capacity | 9,000mAh typical, silicon-carbon | 8,000mAh |
| Wired charging | 67W | 80W |
| Wired reverse charging | 22.5W | 27W |
Xiaomi’s India specifications page lists the Redmi’s 9,000mAh typical silicon-carbon battery, 67W charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. The comparison lists an 8,000mAh battery, 80W charging and 27W wired reverse charging for the Nord CE 6. The Redmi has the greater stated capacity; the OnePlus has higher charging wattage. Neither capacity nor wattage establishes real-world runtime or charge time, which were not tested in the cited material.

Software support and durability claims
91mobiles lists both phones with Android 16-based software: HyperOS 3 on the Redmi and OxygenOS 16 on the Nord CE 6. It reports four years of OS updates and six years of security support for the Redmi, compared with two years of OS updates and four years of security support for the OnePlus. Those are comparison-source claims, not verified manufacturer guarantees in the available material; confirm current terms for your region with the manufacturers before relying on them.
The same comparison reports IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the Redmi, and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings plus MIL-STD-810H for the OnePlus. Treat these as reported specifications rather than a promise that either phone is damage-proof. Water, dust and impact resistance do not eliminate the risk of damage.
