Which phone is faster?
On paper, the realme P3 Ultra has the stronger chipset: its Dimensity 8350 Ultra is a higher-tier proposition than the Dimensity 7400-Ultra listed for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. That makes realme the more promising pick if processor headroom is a priority, but it does not establish how the phones compare in sustained gaming, heat, everyday responsiveness or battery use.
realme says its laboratory data produced an AnTuTu score above 1,450,000. That is a company-reported result, not an independent, matched test of both phones; benchmark scores can also depend on test conditions and software versions. Xiaomi and realme specification pages do not supply a comparable independent performance result, so a firm real-world performance margin cannot be stated from these figures alone.

Flat or curved display: which suits you?
Both phones use an AMOLED display around 6.83 inches with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Redmi specifies a flat 1.5K panel, while realme gives a curved panel resolution of 2800 × 1272. The practical distinction is the shape: choose flat if that feels more natural for your grip or screen interaction; choose curved if you prefer that look and feel. Refresh rate is an upper limit, not a guarantee that every app or activity runs at 120Hz.
Camera comparison: 200MP versus 50MP
Redmi specifies a 200MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. realme specifies a 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 16MP selfie camera. Xiaomi lists 4K recording; realme’s 10 March 2025 India launch announcement says the P3 Ultra supports 4K/60fps recording.

The Redmi’s higher main-camera resolution does not, by itself, prove it takes better photos. Image quality depends on more than megapixels, including sensor and image processing, and no independent side-by-side photo or video test is established here. If camera choice is decisive, compare sample images and footage from the exact India models rather than treating resolution as a quality ranking.

Battery capacity and charging
Xiaomi lists a 6,580mAh battery and 45W charging for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. realme lists 6,000mAh typical capacity (5,860mAh rated) and 80W charging for the P3 Ultra, with an 80W adapter included in its stated box contents. The capacity figures are not directly interchangeable because realme distinguishes typical and rated capacity.

These specifications point to a larger stated battery in the Redmi and faster charging hardware in the realme. They do not show which lasts longer in matched use or how long either takes to charge under the same conditions; no controlled comparative battery or charging test is established here. A separate protective case is also listed in the P3 Ultra’s box contents.
Durability and software support
Water and dust protection
Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. realme advertises IP66, IP68 and IP69 for the P3 Ultra. These are not identical lists, and a rating should not be read as permission to expose a phone to any liquid or conditions without checking the manufacturer’s terms.

Glass and updates
Xiaomi specifies Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and commits to four years of OS updates plus six years of security updates. No directly comparable official update-period promise for the P3 Ultra is established in the cited realme information. That makes Redmi the clearer choice on documented support duration; it does not establish that realme will provide no updates or define its actual update schedule.
Price difference in India
A 91mobiles comparison result displayed Amazon offers of ₹31,999 for each phone. This is one comparison snapshot, not a current-price guarantee: it does not establish equal RAM and storage configurations, discount eligibility, stock or availability. A reliable price difference requires checking live listings for the same memory configuration on the same date.

| realme P3 Ultra 5G | ₹31,999 on Amazon, as displayed by 91mobiles | Current price, configuration match, discount eligibility or stock |
On that displayed snapshot alone, the difference is ₹0. It should not be taken as evidence that the phones always cost the same. realme notes that product prices and availability can vary by market; this comparison concerns India.
Which one should you buy?
- Consider the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G if the listed 200MP main camera, larger stated battery, flat screen, or Xiaomi’s explicit update commitment matters most to you.
- Consider the realme P3 Ultra 5G if the higher-tier listed chipset, curved screen or 80W charging with its adapter in the box better fits your priorities.
- Compare the exact listings before deciding if price is the deciding factor: match RAM and storage, check the live price and confirm stock. The cited ₹31,999 figures are only a snapshot.
These are spec-based trade-offs, not a tested overall ranking. Neither the processor benchmark claim nor the camera resolutions settle real-world performance or image quality.
