For the India-market Redmi Note 15 5G and moto g67 power 5G, the choice comes down to priorities: Redmi lists an AMOLED display, a 108MP optically stabilized main camera, faster 45W wired charging and a longer published software-support commitment. Moto lists a much larger 7000mAh battery, a 32MP selfie camera, a headphone jack and a lower observed price. These are manufacturer specifications and listing prices, not results from comparative testing.

Display: AMOLED versus LCD
Both phones list a 120Hz refresh rate, so that figure alone does not separate them. Redmi’s 6.77-inch curved AMOLED panel is the more premium display technology on paper; Moto’s 6.7-inch LCD is Full HD+ and specifies Gorilla Glass 7i. Xiaomi also advertises up to 3200 nits peak brightness, but peak figures from different manufacturers should not be treated as equivalent real-world brightness tests.

Performance: chipset names are not a speed test
The Redmi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the Moto lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 manufactured on a 4nm process. Chipset names and manufacturing process alone do not establish which phone feels faster in apps, games or sustained workloads. The available information does not provide comparable independent testing for these exact India models, so choose based on tested reviews if performance is your deciding factor.
Cameras: compare the full setup, not just megapixels
Main and ultrawide cameras
Redmi lists a 108MP f/1.7 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Moto lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 f/1.8 main camera with phase-detection autofocus. Their listed ultrawide cameras are both 8MP at f/2.2. Resolution and specifications do not determine final photo quality by themselves; sensor behavior, processing, focus and lens field of view matter too. Xiaomi lists 4K recording, while Motorola specifies UHD/4K capture at 30fps.

Selfies and front video
Moto lists a 32MP front camera and UHD/FHD video at 30fps; Redmi lists a 20MP front camera. The higher pixel count does not prove better selfies. If front-camera detail or video is important, compare samples from these exact models rather than relying on megapixels.

Battery and charging: capacity versus top-up speed
Moto’s listed 7000mAh battery is substantially larger than Redmi’s 5520mAh capacity, making Moto the paper choice if battery capacity is your priority. Capacity does not establish how long a phone lasts in a comparable day of use; that requires matched endurance testing.

Redmi lists 45W wired charging and 18W reverse charging, while Motorola lists 30W device charging capability. Redmi therefore has the higher stated wired charging rate, but wattage alone does not determine charging time. It can depend on the charger, temperature and phone use; check the exact India retail-box contents rather than assuming a charger is included.
Protection, size and storage details
Dust and water resistance
Xiaomi lists IP66 protection, compared with Motorola’s IP64 water-resistant design. Redmi has the higher listed IP rating, but neither rating is permission to deliberately expose a phone to water. Check each manufacturer’s local warranty terms for liquid damage.

Xiaomi’s product page names HyperOS 3 and commits to 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. Motorola’s specification page lists Android 15; Motorola’s related official support material for the moto g67/g67 power lists 1 OS upgrade and 3 years of security maintenance updates. These are the manufacturers’ published commitments, not guarantees about when a particular update will reach a particular device. Policies and rollout details can vary by region.
Price difference in India
In a Smartprix comparison updated October 1, 2026, the 128GB comparison listed the moto g67 power 5G at ₹23,700 and the Redmi Note 15 5G at ₹28,999, a ₹5,299 difference in Moto’s favor. These are observed comparison-page listings, not fixed official prices. A 91mobiles comparison showed a different Moto listing of ₹23,998 alongside the same ₹28,999 Redmi listing, illustrating that displayed prices can differ between services. - You are comfortable paying the higher observed comparison-page price, after checking the current listing for your exact configuration.
Choose moto g67 power 5G if
- You put battery capacity first: Motorola lists 7000mAh versus Redmi’s 5520mAh.
- You want a headphone jack or prefer the higher stated front-camera resolution.
- You want to spend less at the observed comparison prices and the LCD display suits you.
Neither is a universal winner based on specifications alone. For camera quality, day-to-day performance and battery endurance, look for comparable independent testing of the India 5G variants; the listed numbers do not settle those questions.
