Choose the Redmi for its listed display and charging
Xiaomi’s global 5G listing specifies an AMOLED panel, while the comparison entries list an LCD for Moto. That is a clear difference in panel type on paper, not proof of which screen looks better in person. Xiaomi also lists 45W charging against Moto’s listed 30W. Neither specification alone establishes real-world charging time or overall performance.

Consider the Moto if battery capacity is your priority
The Moto comparison listings show a 7,000mAh battery, versus Xiaomi’s 5,520mAh typical capacity. Capacity does not establish how long a phone lasts: screen, software, network conditions and use affect endurance. No comparable independent battery test is established by the sources here, so treat the larger number as a capacity advantage rather than a proven runtime result.
Do not decide on camera megapixels alone
The listed main-camera resolutions are 108MP for Redmi and 50MP for Moto, and both entries include an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Megapixel counts do not establish image quality, and the available comparison data does not provide a basis for claiming one takes better photos.

What is the India price difference?
At retrieval, 91mobiles displayed ₹28,999 for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 with an Amazon listing and ₹27,999 for the Moto g max 5G with a Flipkart listing. The displayed gap was ₹1,000, with Redmi higher. These are changing retailer-listing prices, not official MSRPs or a promise of current availability.

Before treating that gap as meaningful, compare the same RAM and storage tier and check the live seller price, delivery and any applicable offers. The comparison page’s Redmi label does not by itself establish that its listing is the same 5G regional variant described on Xiaomi Global’s specification page.

Check the exact Redmi variant and what comes in the box
Xiaomi’s global page identifies the phone as Redmi Note 15 5G and lists HyperOS 2, a 6.67-inch display and a 5,520mAh typical battery. Xiaomi India’s Redmi Note 15 5G page describes a different regional product presentation, including a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display, a 108MP camera with OIS and HyperOS 3. Those details should be applied only to the India SKU, not merged into the global specification set; verify the model number and seller’s listing.
Xiaomi Global says the 45W adapter is not included with its listed global package and recommends a 45W PD-compatible adapter or Xiaomi’s 45W adapter. It lists a case in the package contents but cautions that contents may vary by region. Check the box contents for the exact market and SKU; the India regional material describes an adapter in its package information, so do not assume the global package description applies there.

Software support and protection have important limits
Xiaomi India states four years of OS updates and six years of security patches for its regional Redmi product page. That statement is market- and page-specific; it should not automatically be assigned to another Redmi SKU. PhoneArena lists Android 16 and up to two OS updates for Moto, but that update claim is not confirmed here by an official Motorola source.
