This comparison is specifically about the Redmi Note 15 5G, not the separate Redmi Note 15 4G. Xiaomi’s global product page supplies the Redmi specifications below; availability, memory options, network bands and software can vary by country and exact SKU. The Infinix specifications are from its India product page. Check the listing and regional variant you intend to buy rather than assuming every market sells the same configuration.

Which phone has the better display?
On the published specifications, the Infinix Note Edge has the bigger panel (6.78 inches versus 6.67 inches) and a 1.5K resolution, while Redmi lists FHD+ at 2392 × 1080. Both are AMOLED screens with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. Infinix’s stated peak-brightness figure is higher, but the manufacturers’ measurement methods are not established as directly comparable. These figures do not by themselves establish which screen looks better in everyday use.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers tell you
Infinix lists a 6,500mAh typical battery, compared with Xiaomi’s 5,520mAh typical figure. That gives Infinix the higher stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot establish longer runtime; screen settings, signal strength, software and workload all affect battery life. Infinix’s 50%-in-27-minutes claim is under its own test conditions, not a like-for-like independent comparison. Xiaomi’s 45W figure also depends on using a compatible adapter, which its global page says is not included.

Camera differences: resolution is not a quality verdict
Redmi lists a 108MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera, plus a 20MP front camera. The comparison data lists a 50MP rear and 13MP front camera for Infinix. Redmi therefore has higher stated pixel counts and the more flexible listed rear-camera arrangement if you want an ultra-wide view. Megapixels do not settle image quality, and there is no controlled head-to-head camera test established here to show which phone takes better photos.
Storage, durability and software considerations
Choose Redmi for removable-storage flexibility
Xiaomi lists microSD expansion up to 1TB and configurations reaching 12GB/512GB, with a hybrid SIM tray. Infinix’s India page lists up to 8GB/256GB among the cited options and does not establish microSD support in the information used here. Confirm that the exact Redmi SKU sold in your country supports the card configuration you need.

Understand the protection ratings
Xiaomi lists IP66 and Infinix’s FAQ lists IP65; Infinix also specifies Gorilla Glass 7i. IP ratings describe laboratory-tested protection classifications, not permission to deliberately expose a phone to water or dust. Xiaomi expressly says liquid damage outside its test conditions is not covered by warranty. Check the warranty terms for the exact regional model before relying on any resistance claim.
Software and performance are not decided by chip names
The listed combinations are Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with HyperOS 2 for Redmi and Dimensity 7100 with XOS 16 powered by Android 16 for Infinix. A processor name or synthetic score alone does not establish which phone feels faster in daily use; software build, app load and regional updates matter. Android Central’s review of Redmi describes its display as a strength and its large battery and slim design as positives, while criticizing the software as slow and dated and saying the camera does little to stand out in the midrange. That is the reviewer’s assessment of Redmi, not a controlled comparison with Infinix. Its price discussion also covers 4G and 5G variants, so do not apply a generic Redmi Note 15 price to this 5G model without checking the configuration. Android Central review

India price difference: why there is no dependable single figure
The captured India listings do not make a like-for-like price comparison. Infinix’s own India store displayed a ₹28,999 sale price and ₹39,999 regular price, with the offer described as exclusive to its website. Separately, 91mobiles displayed ₹28,999 for Redmi on Amazon and ₹26,999 for Infinix on Flipkart. These are changeable snapshots, and the sellers, offer terms and possibly configurations differ. They are not a basis for claiming that one phone is definitively cheaper by a particular amount.
Before deciding, compare the live checkout prices for the same country, RAM/storage configuration and seller type, and account for bank offers or other conditions. Xiaomi’s reported India launch context should not be confused with these current seller listings: Android Central reported ₹22,999 for a base Redmi Note 15 price and ₹24,999 for an 8GB/256GB configuration, but its discussion includes both 4G and 5G models. Verify which variant those figures refer to before using them as a price for Redmi Note 15 5G.

Which one should you buy?
- Pick Infinix Note Edge if a larger, higher-resolution display and the higher stated battery capacity matter most to you.
- Pick Redmi Note 15 5G if you want the listed ultra-wide rear camera, higher camera pixel counts, microSD expansion, or Xiaomi’s stated IP66 rating.
- Compare the exact local SKU if price, storage, network bands, warranty or included accessories will decide the purchase. Xiaomi lists a protective case in its package contents, but packaging can vary by region; it does not include a power adapter on the cited global page.
The specifications identify different priorities, not a tested overall winner. For the buying decision, give more weight to the feature you will use and to verified local listings than to peak figures or mismatched price snapshots.
