The battery claim traces to a tipster’s report about an engineering sample; available coverage describes October only as a tentative window for the K100 series, not a confirmed date for this model.
Does the Redmi K100 really have a 10,000mAh battery?
That is the reported capacity, not a verified Redmi specification. Gadgets 360 reported on 1 September 2026 that Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station attributed a 10,000mAh battery to an engineering sample of the standard Redmi K100. Gadgets 360’s report and 91mobiles’ report from 2 September both treat the specifications as unconfirmed, and 91mobiles notes that final specifications could change.

Until Redmi announces the phone or publishes a final specification sheet, the 10,000mAh figure should be understood as a leak. It does not establish how long the phone would last between charges: battery capacity alone cannot determine real-world endurance, which also depends on factors such as the display, processor, software and usage.

No confirmed launch date for the standard Redmi K100 appears in the September reporting. An 8 May 2026 Gizmochina report discussed a tentative October window for the K100 series, but it also described uncertainty about which model a separate leak referred to. That is not confirmation that the standard K100 will launch by the end of October.

A later Gizmochina report dated 31 August also discussed K100 leaks, but the September coverage still characterized the standard model’s date as unconfirmed. Treat “by October end” as a rumor, not a schedule.

The reviewed reports do not establish a confirmed price, release market or retail listing for the standard Redmi K100. There is therefore no verified sale availability to assess yet. If Redmi confirms the device, check the model identity, official specifications, launch region and price before comparing it with other phones. For battery-focused comparisons, capacity is only one factor; charging speed, device size and weight, and real-world endurance also matter.
