- Choose Redmi 15 5G if you prefer the larger 6.9-inch display, want its listed up-to-144Hz refresh rate, or value Xiaomi’s stated update schedule.
- Choose vivo T5x 5G if its 7200mAh battery, 44W charging rating or 32MP front-camera specification better fits your priorities.
- Compare the exact storage tier if price matters: Redmi lists two configurations while vivo lists three.
For a performance decision, look for independent tests of the exact India models under comparable conditions. The listed Snapdragon and Dimensity chipsets do not, by themselves, establish a controlled head-to-head winner.

Xiaomi’s India phone catalog showed the Redmi 15 5G at ₹21,499 when accessed in 2026, but it was marked out of stock. That snapshot is not a confirmed price for an in-stock offer. A third-party comparison page includes Amazon-linked price snapshots, but does not verify live stock, seller or a matching storage variant for both phones. It therefore does not establish a reliable current price difference.

On listed capacity and charging wattage, the vivo T5x 5G has the larger figures: 7200mAh and 44W, compared with the Redmi 15 5G’s 7000mAh typical capacity and 33W charging. Redmi also lists 18W reverse charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not comparable measurements of battery life or charging time; actual results depend on usage and charging conditions.

Redmi 15 vs vivo T5x camera
The main-camera specifications are similar at 50MP, with vivo additionally listing a 2MP bokeh camera. The front-camera figures differ more: 32MP for the T5x and 8MP for Redmi. Resolution is only one part of camera performance, so use comparable sample photos and video tests if selfies, portraits or recording quality matter more than the spec sheet.

Redmi’s display is 6.9 inches with a listed maximum refresh rate of 144Hz; vivo specifies a 6.76-inch LCD and its product specifications give a resolution of 2344 × 1080. Xiaomi lists 2340 × 1080 for Redmi. The small resolution difference is less decisive than screen size and refresh-rate preference for many buyers.
Both phones have a 6GB + 128GB option and an 8GB + 256GB option. Vivo also lists an 8GB + 128GB tier. The manufacturers specify UFS 2.2 for Redmi and UFS 3.1 for T5x, but the exact configuration and local offer should be checked before purchase.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 15 5G FAQ states: “The Redmi 15 5G includes 2 years of Android Upgrade and 4 years of Security Updates.” Xiaomi lists Android 15 with HyperOS 2. The cited vivo T5x product information lists OriginOS 6.0 but does not provide a comparable update-duration promise, so a direct support-period comparison is not established by these pages.
