What is Red Sand Desert?
Red Sand Desert is a 3D environment designed around large, sharply shaped rocks that seem to disappear into a foggy night sky. The scene is presented as stylized environment art, not as a depiction of an identified real-world desert. Why is there no vegetation?
Pardon often uses substantial foliage in his environments, but for this project he chose to work without vegetation. 80 Level says the constraint gave him a chance to practice sculpting sharp objects.
