It records meeting audio, produces a transcript that labels speakers, generates a summary plus decisions and action items, and keeps recordings in a searchable library. The store listing spells the name “Recallix,” not “RecallixAI,” so this article treats the two names as the same product on that basis. Confirm the match before relying on it.
What the app is listed to do
Apple’s listing describes Recallix as a meeting companion for consultants, freelancers and other professionals. The workflow it describes has five stages:

- Record. Capture the meeting audio inside the app.
- Transcribe with speaker diarization. The transcript tries to separate who said what.
- Extract key points. A summary, decisions and action items are generated from the transcript.
- Store and search. Recordings stay in a library you can search when you need to check a detail.
- Share and export. Transcripts, summaries and action items can be sent by email or messages, and action items can be exported to Apple Reminders.
These are the developer’s own feature claims. The listing does not state how accurate the transcript is, how faithful the summary is to the conversation, or how search ranks results, and it describes no test method.

The U.S. App Store listing, checked in 2026, sets the following limits and prices. Plan terms can change, so confirm them in the store before subscribing.

A meeting longer than 10 minutes will exceed the free per-recording allowance, so a free trial of the app is only useful for short calls or test runs.
Device compatibility
- iPhone: iOS 15.1 or later. This is the compatibility requirement the listing supports.
- Mac: The listing gives a macOS 12.0 or later requirement and an Apple M1 chip or later, but it also labels the app “Only for iPhone” and “Not verified for macOS.” Treat Mac use as unconfirmed.
- Download size: 46.3 MB, according to the listing.
Privacy and data handling
Apple’s privacy section shows the developer’s own declaration. It says purchases, email address, audio data and user ID may be linked to you, and that crash data may be collected without being linked to you. Apple states that it has not verified the developer’s privacy responses.

The listing points to a developer privacy policy, but this article could not verify its contents. The listing alone does not establish encryption, where audio is stored, how long it is kept, how deletion works, or whether audio is used to train models. Any privacy wording in the app’s marketing copy is developer-supplied and should be read as a claim, not a verified security finding.

- Read the linked privacy policy and look specifically for storage location, retention, deletion and model-training language.
- Confirm the recording-consent rules that apply where you and your participants are, and tell everyone before you start.
- Decide whether confidential client material belongs in an app whose data practices you have not been able to verify.
The transcription engine
The App Store version notes say an update improved transcription quality using AssemblyAI Universal-3 Pro. That names the model in the update history. It does not describe how the integration works, and it does not indicate any partnership, referral or affiliate relationship.

The App Store listing does not say who conceived or built Recallix, what its architecture is, how it was tested, or what results users have achieved. It includes no named testimonial and no independently measured figure for accuracy, time saved or user count. This article is therefore limited to what the listing states. The quality of any transcript or summary has to be checked against your own meetings.

How to recover what happened after a meeting
- Check compatibility first. Confirm you are on an iPhone running iOS 15.1 or later. Estimate the meeting length against the 10-minute free per-recording limit.
- Record with consent. Tell participants before you start, as described above.
- Review the transcript against the speakers. Diarization can assign a line to the wrong person, so confirm attributions for any statement you plan to act on.
- Check the summary against the transcript. Treat each decision and action item as a draft until you have found the matching passage in the transcript or the original audio.
- Move follow-ups into your task system. Export action items to Apple Reminders, or share them by email or messages.
- Search the library later. When someone disputes a detail, search earlier recordings for the relevant words.
Is it worth testing?
- It fits well if you use an iPhone, mostly have short calls or can pay for Pro, and want a searchable audio archive with follow-ups you can export to Reminders.
- Test it carefully if your meetings run long, include sensitive material, or you need to use it on a Mac, since the Mac listing is not verified.
- Hold off if you need verified privacy controls or a documented accuracy standard before trusting it with important conversations.
