Rebet’s official Sweepstakes Rules list 12 excluded states, while its homepage lists only six. The published lists conflict, and neither establishes the exact state list currently enforced by the app. Check Rebet’s current rules and in-app location eligibility before participating; an exclusion in Rebet’s materials is not, by itself, a ruling on state law.
What states is Rebet legal in?
There is no consistent state list across Rebet’s published materials. Its Sweepstakes Official Rules name Arizona, Connecticut, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee as excluded, as well as places where participation is otherwise prohibited. Rebet’s homepage FAQ instead says the service is accessible across the United States except Idaho, Nevada, Louisiana, Montana, Maryland, and Michigan.

| Rebet source | What it says | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Sweepstakes Official Rules | Lists 12 excluded states: Arizona, Connecticut, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee; also excludes jurisdictions where participation is otherwise prohibited. | A written sweepstakes eligibility list, not a determination of state law. |
| Homepage FAQ | Lists six exceptions: Idaho, Nevada, Louisiana, Montana, Maryland, and Michigan. | A separate operator statement; it does not reconcile the difference with the rules. |
Because the two official statements do not match, do not assume that every state omitted from either list is available. Rebet says promotional availability may change monthly and directs users to its Terms of Use and Sweepstakes Rules for current details. Check the latest rules and whether the app accepts your location before taking part.
Is Rebet available in my state?
Availability and legality are separate questions. A state appearing on Rebet’s exclusion list means the operator says participation is restricted there; it does not establish that state law prohibits the service. Conversely, a state absent from a list of exclusions is not affirmative confirmation that Rebet offers access there. The independent SweepState state guide makes this distinction too, but it is secondary information and does not resolve Rebet’s conflicting official statements.
#1 Best Overall
- Open Rebet’s current app or website from the state where you intend to participate and check its location eligibility.
- Read the current Sweepstakes Official Rules and Rebet homepage FAQ; look for the applicable state restriction and any update date.
- If the app and published materials give different answers, do not infer eligibility from silence. Contact Rebet for clarification and wait for a consistent answer before participating.
What Rebet says its service is
Rebet describes itself as a social sportsbook app involving sports games, social features, promotional sweepstakes, and loyalty rewards. Its homepage says: “Rebet does not offer ‘real money’ gambling or an opportunity to win real money prizes based on the outcome of play.” That is Rebet’s characterization of its product, not an independent legal conclusion about how a regulator or court would classify it in a particular state.
On its homepage, Rebet distinguishes Rebet Coins—described as entertainment currency without cash value or external prize redemption—from Rebet Cash, which it says is used for promotional sweepstakes games and may be redeemable for prizes subject to requirements such as minimum redemption and verification. The homepage describes ways to obtain Rebet Cash, including free alternative entry options. The official rules say Rebet Cash cannot be purchased and describe methods that include no-cost giveaways, a zero-balance method, and alternative entry instructions. These terms and mechanisms can change; consult the live rules for current details rather than relying on a summary.

Who can participate under Rebet’s rules?
Rebet’s Sweepstakes Official Rules say the sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents aged 18 or older, except in the named excluded jurisdictions and wherever participation is otherwise prohibited. The rules assign participants responsibility for determining whether participation complies with the laws in their jurisdiction. Rebet’s homepage also says users should determine whether they are in a jurisdiction where the service is legal; neither statement settles the legal classification of the product in every state.
