|---|---|---|---|
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, per launch and comparison sources | MediaTek Dimensity 6300, per the official realme India store listing | The P4x sits higher in the chipset line-up on paper. Real-world speed still needs a like-for-like test. |

Display: bigger screen or sharper picture
The 16x offers about a tenth of an inch more diagonal, which is noticeable for video and browsing. Its listed 1570×720 resolution is HD+, though, while the P4x’s 1080×2400 FHD+ panel gives considerably more pixels per inch. Both are listed with 144Hz refresh, so the choice mostly depends on whether you value screen size or sharpness.

The P4x’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra is listed above the 16x’s Dimensity 6300, and its UFS 3.1 storage is listed above the 16x’s UFS 2.2. These are published specifications, not measured performance. Gaming frame rates, thermal behaviour and app launch times depend on the software, cooling and the RAM variant you buy, and none of those are established here.

Battery, charging and cameras
Both phones are listed with a 7000mAh battery and 45W charging, so on paper they should be close in endurance and charging capacity. Real battery life depends on screen resolution, workload and software optimisation, and the P4x’s higher resolution could use more power at the same brightness. The rear cameras both list a 50MP main sensor, but the P4x also lists a 2MP mono sensor and the 16x lists an f/1.8 aperture with autofocus. Neither listing establishes which phone produces better photos.
Price difference: what the observed figures show
Prices for these phones are not consistent across the sources reviewed, so there is no single difference to quote. The observations are:
Rank #2
- realme India store (16x): ₹28,999 for the Glory White 4GB+128GB configuration, shown on the official product page. The page also displays EMI and exchange offers whose eligibility can change. The date of this observation is not recorded in the source.
- 91mobiles comparison (both phones): ₹21,939 for the P4x and ₹25,999 for the 16x in one view. Another comparison result showed a different 16x price, so this figure should not be treated as final. The page is at 91mobiles’ realme P4x vs realme 16x 5G comparison.
- Gadgets 360 (P4x, Amazon): ₹23,473, observed on 2 October 2026. This is a dated retailer price, not a guaranteed current price. See the Gadgets 360 P4x price page.
Setting the Amazon P4x figure beside the official 16x figure would mix sellers, dates and configurations, so it does not show a true price gap. Before comparing, confirm that both phones are the same RAM and storage variant, sold by the same seller, on the same date, with the same offers applied.

This recommendation is based on published specifications rather than measured speed.
