The realme P4x 5G lists a larger 7000mAh battery and a 144Hz LCD, while Samsung’s Galaxy M47 5G pairs a 6000mAh battery with a Super AMOLED display and a stated six-generation OS-upgrade, six-year security-update policy. Neither specification sheet establishes real-world battery life, display quality or camera performance. A reliable current price difference is not established here, so compare the same memory and storage configuration at checkout before deciding on value.

The P4x lists the higher maximum refresh rate: up to 144Hz on an LCD, compared with up to 120Hz on the M47’s Super AMOLED. That describes refresh ceilings, not the overall viewing experience. The specifications alone do not establish brightness, colour accuracy, outdoor readability or how often either phone uses its maximum refresh rate.

Choose based on the panel type you prefer as well as the refresh-rate figure. Refresh rate alone is not enough to conclude that one screen looks better.
Battery capacity, charging and what comes in the box
Realme lists a 7000mAh typical battery for the P4x; Samsung lists 6000mAh typical capacity for the M47 and gives 5,882mAh as its rated/minimum capacity. Both list charging up to 45W. Those figures do not establish comparative endurance or charging time, which depend on usage and conditions.
Rank #2
The purchase package is a practical distinction: realme lists a charger among the P4x’s box contents, while Samsung says the M47 fast charger is sold separately. Check the exact regional package and retailer listing before buying.

Camera hardware: what the specs do and do not tell you
The M47 lists three rear cameras, including a 5MP camera not listed for the P4x, and a 12MP front camera versus the P4x’s 8MP. Realme lists a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP monochrome camera. Samsung specifies optical image stabilisation (OIS) for the M47’s main camera.

- 6.72 inches, IPS LCD, 1080 x 2400 pixels
- 128GB Storage, 4GB RAM
- Android 15, Realme UI 6.0, Mediatek Dimensity 7400 Ultra (4 nm), Octa-core (4x2.6 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide)
- 165.9 x 76 x 8.4 mm (6.53 x 2.99 x 0.33 in), 208 g (7.34 oz)
These hardware details do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. Image quality requires comparable independent testing; megapixel counts and camera count are not a substitute.

Samsung India says the Galaxy M47 5G will receive “six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from the first global launch date.” Samsung says this policy is subject to change. Its product information lists Android 16 for the phone.

- 201 g (7.09 oz)
- 6.74 inches, IPS LCD, 720 x 1600 pixels

The reviewed realme P4x specification page lists realme UI 6.0 but does not state an equivalent support duration. That does not prove the phone will receive no updates; it means a like-for-like support-period comparison cannot be made from the cited product information.
Realme announced an India launch date of December 4, 2025. Samsung lists June 29, 2026 as the M47 launch date. The support period Samsung describes is tied to the first global launch date, not necessarily the India launch date.
What is the price difference?
A defensible current price spread between these phones is not available from the cited information. Prices can differ by RAM and storage configuration, seller, stock, location and time-limited offers, so a number without those details could mislead.
For a fair comparison, check live India listings for the same RAM and storage tier on the same day. Record the seller and distinguish the listed price from bank discounts, exchange bonuses and other conditional offers; also confirm delivery to your location. Do not treat a third-party comparison snippet as a current like-for-like offer unless its configuration and seller details match.
Quick Recap
Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Consider the P4x if its listed 7000mAh battery, higher 144Hz refresh ceiling, LCD panel or included charger and case suit your priorities. These specifications do not guarantee longer battery life or a better screen.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 if you prefer a Super AMOLED panel, want the stated six-generation OS and six-year security-update policy, or value its listed 12MP front camera and main-camera OIS. Camera quality still needs independent testing.
- Make price the deciding factor only after checking like-for-like listings. Compare the same memory and storage tier, seller, location and offer conditions rather than relying on an unverified price difference.
