Gadgets 360’s review found the display a highlight, but also noted occasional stutters, heat under stress and battery life and charging that did not match expectations set by the headline figures. It is a mixed, display-led mid-range phone—not an automatic choice for buyers seeking the longest endurance or the lightest design.

How the display and performance feel
A strong screen on paper
The resolution, pixel density and AMOLED panel make the P4s suited to video, reading and general use where image clarity and color matter. Gadgets 360’s reviewer praised its crisp, vibrant appearance and smoothness. The maximum refresh rate is 144Hz, but it is a ceiling rather than a promise that every app or game will run at that rate.

Capable everyday use, with occasional rough edges
The Dimensity 7400 Ultra was described as adequate for a mid-range phone, and the reviewer found everyday tasks generally capable. They also encountered occasional interface lag and stutters, so buyers who put a premium on consistently fluid response should treat that as a review finding rather than assume the high refresh rate eliminates slowdowns.

Battery life and charging: large capacity, mixed results
Capacity is not the same as endurance. In Gadgets 360’s review, the phone lasted about a day and a half in the reviewer’s casual-use experience, short of their expectation of two days. In the review’s PCMark Work 3.1 battery test, it ran for 21 hours and 43 minutes. That benchmark result and the casual-use estimate describe one reviewer’s conditions, not a guarantee for every user. Although realme specifies charging up to 80W, the reviewer observed about 44% charge after 30 minutes, 81% after roughly an hour and a full charge in about 1 hour 27 minutes. These are review-specific measurements; charging can vary with the charger, conditions and use. Gadgets 360 review

Camera system and photo expectations
The main camera combines 50MP resolution with autofocus and two-axis optical image stabilisation, while the 8MP ultrawide adds a broader 112-degree view. The front camera is 16MP. Gadgets 360’s review summary describes daytime and low-light performance as good, but that is one review’s assessment, not a guarantee of results across scenes or conditions. Design, weight and water-resistance ratings
At about 208g, the phone is relatively substantial in hand; Gadgets 360’s reviewer said its weight may feel high. The review lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. Check the rating and applicable warranty terms for the specific market and unit before relying on water- or dust-resistance claims. Who should consider the realme P4s 5G?
- Consider it if: you value a high-resolution AMOLED screen, a high refresh-rate option, a large stated battery capacity and a main camera with OIS.
- Think twice if: you need proven multi-day endurance, especially fast real-world charging, a lighter phone, or consistently stutter-free performance. The single review’s observations make those priorities worth checking against alternatives.
- Compare carefully: the Gadgets 360 review named the iQOO Z11 and Vivo S2 as alternatives at its publication date. This is not a current head-to-head comparison; verify current model availability, prices and configuration before choosing.
Overall, the realme P4s 5G is a display-first mid-range option with capable specifications and a large battery, but its review experience is mixed on endurance, charging, heat and interface smoothness.
