The realme P4R and realme NARZO 100x 5G share the main headline specifications: a Dimensity 6300 processor, an 8,000 mAh battery, a 144 Hz display and 45W charging, according to realme’s India product pages. The clearest documented distinction is that the NARZO page explicitly lists IP65 dust and water resistance and ArmorShell protection; the P4R page highlights Android 16-based realme UI 7.0 and military-grade shock resistance. realme announced the P4R at a starting price of ₹16,999, but that launch price does not establish which phone currently costs less.

What is the price difference?
realme’s India launch announcement set the P4R’s starting price at ₹16,999. That is an announced launch starting price, not a verified current selling price. The material available for this comparison does not establish a reliable, current like-for-like price difference between the P4R and NARZO 100x 5G. A comparison listing from 91mobiles has shown changing marketplace figures across cached versions, so it is not a sound basis for a live price verdict.

Where the phones differ in practical terms
Protection and durability claims
The NARZO 100x page explicitly claims IP65 dust and water resistance and ArmorShell protection. The P4R page promotes military-grade shock resistance, but the cited page does not establish an equivalent IP rating. These descriptions are not interchangeable: compare the exact protection claim rather than assuming the phones share the same certification.

realme lists the P4R as running realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 and describes the NARZO 100x as running realme UI 7.0. Those product-page descriptions do not establish a difference in long-term software support, such as how many Android-version upgrades or security updates either phone will receive.

Shared cooling claim
realme specifies a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber for both models. The shared figure alone does not show how well either phone sustains performance under extended workloads.
How much do the shared specifications tell you?
Battery and charging
Both phones have a manufacturer-stated 8,000 mAh battery and 45W charging. realme’s battery-duration and charging demonstrations are company claims, not independent head-to-head tests. Actual battery life depends on factors such as signal strength, display settings and workload; the product page itself cautions that actual results may vary.

Display
Both pages advertise a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1,200-nit peak brightness. realme qualifies the 144 Hz figure as available only in supported scenarios. These headline numbers do not, on their own, establish that the screens have the same resolution, brightness in every condition or overall image quality.

Performance
The shared Dimensity 6300 identifies the processor realme lists for each phone, but it does not prove identical performance in every task. realme reports a 631,720 AnTuTu score for the NARZO 100x from its own lab and says results vary with test environment and method. There is no corresponding, directly comparable P4R result established here, so that number should not be used to declare a performance winner.

Cameras
A third-party comparison page lists 50 MP main and 8 MP selfie cameras for both models, but megapixel counts do not establish image quality. No independent head-to-head camera results for the exact variants are established here; look for sample photos and review tests if camera performance will decide your purchase.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the NARZO 100x 5G if its explicitly stated IP65 rating and ArmorShell protection matter to you. Confirm the exact terms and limits of the protection before exposing a phone to water or dust.
- Consider the P4R if its listed Android 16-based realme UI 7.0 or its announced ₹16,999 launch starting price is relevant to your shortlist. Check the current price and the exact configuration before buying.
- Compare both listings directly if battery capacity, charging, refresh rate or processor are your main criteria: realme lists the same headline figures for each, so those claims alone do not distinguish them.
For either phone, compare the screen resolution and real-world brightness, the matching RAM/storage price, included accessories, warranty and independent camera or sustained-performance tests. The official product pages list 45W charging, but check the retailer’s box contents and charger compatibility rather than assuming a suitable adapter is included.
