The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G may offer a sharper display and more RAM in the listed configuration, but those details come from third-party comparison listings rather than an official Ai+ source. A Smartprix snapshot updated October 6, 2026 puts the Nova 2 Pro 5G 8GB/128GB at ₹18,999 and the P4R 5G at ₹20,199—a ₹1,200 difference, but not a fully like-for-like price comparison.

Which phone has the better battery and charging?
On the figures available, the P4R has a 2,000mAh larger listed battery: realme specifies 8,000mAh and 45W charging. Smartprix lists a 6,000mAh battery for the Nova 2 Pro 5G 8GB/128GB, while Gadgets Now reports 33W charging. The Nova figures should be treated as listing information until verified against an official Ai+ specification page.

Battery capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts in real use. Screen settings, network conditions, software and workload all affect endurance; no independent named side-by-side battery test is established by these sources.

Does the Nova have a better display?
Both phones are reported at 144Hz, so the available refresh-rate figures do not separate them. The more consequential reported difference is resolution: Smartprix lists 2340 × 1080 for the Nova and 720 × 1570 for the P4R configuration in its comparison. If those entries match the actual variants being considered, the Nova’s listing indicates substantially more pixels. Because the resolution and precise configurations come from a third-party database, confirm the exact model and panel specification with the seller or manufacturer before buying.
realme additionally specifies up to 1,200 nits peak brightness for the P4R display. That is a manufacturer-stated peak figure, not a direct brightness comparison with the Nova; the cited Nova listing does not establish an equivalent brightness value.

How do memory, processor and cameras compare?
RAM and storage
The Smartprix comparison is not a same-memory comparison: it identifies the Nova as 8GB/128GB and the P4R as 4GB/128GB. Both entries show 128GB storage, but the Nova listing has twice the RAM. Check the exact RAM and storage variant on the product page before comparing prices, since other P4R variants are listed elsewhere and the price of one configuration should not be assumed to apply to another.

realme specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for the P4R. Gadgets Now reports a Dimensity 7100 for the Nova 2 Pro 5G, but that figure lacks official Ai+ confirmation in the cited material. Chipset names alone do not establish which phone performs better in everyday use or gaming, and the available sources do not provide an independent head-to-head benchmark.

Cameras
Gadgets Now lists a 50MP rear camera for the P4R and a 48MP + 8MP rear-camera combination for the Nova. These are comparison-site specifications; the available material does not confirm them on official pages. Megapixel counts also do not determine photo quality by themselves, so they are not enough to declare a camera winner.
What is the price difference?
Smartprix’s comparison page, with price details updated October 6, 2026, showed the Ai+ Nova 2 Pro 5G 8GB/128GB at ₹18,999 and the realme P4R 5G at ₹20,199. Subtracting those displayed figures makes the Nova ₹1,200 cheaper in that snapshot. This is a comparison-site price snapshot, not a guaranteed current checkout price, and the listed RAM configurations differ.

Separately, realme’s newsroom lists the P4R 5G with a starting price of INR 16,999. That is an official starting-price announcement, not a statement of current retail pricing or a directly comparable quote for the P4R configuration in Smartprix’s snapshot. Prices can differ by variant, seller, date and promotion; compare the same RAM/storage tier and verify the final seller price before deciding.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the P4R if battery capacity is your priority. Its 8,000mAh battery and 45W charging are listed by realme itself, alongside the Dimensity 6300 and 144Hz LCD.
- Consider the Nova if the reported display resolution and 8GB RAM configuration appeal to you. Those advantages are based on third-party listings and should be confirmed for the exact device variant before purchase.
- Do not choose on the ₹1,200 snapshot difference alone. The price listing is dated, the RAM configurations shown differ, and realme’s announced starting price is not the same as a current seller quote.
realme’s product page also includes lab-based performance and battery figures and notes that actual results may vary. Those are manufacturer lab claims, not independent comparative test results.
