Which display is better?
Galaxy M47: sharper AMOLED image
The M47’s FHD+ Super AMOLED panel has the stronger listed combination for resolution and panel type. It should be the more suitable choice if crisp text, detailed video and AMOLED contrast are priorities. Samsung lists a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →P4R: higher refresh ceiling and larger diagonal
The P4R’s 6.8-inch LCD is listed at HD+ resolution, but supports up to 144Hz. That higher ceiling can make supported scrolling and animation appear smoother; it does not make the panel sharper than the M47’s FHD+ display. realme advertises 1200-nit peak brightness, while the Samsung specification cited here does not provide a directly comparable brightness figure.

Performance: what the processor listings do and do not tell you
realme names the P4R’s chip as the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Samsung’s product specification lists the M47’s CPU speeds as 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz without naming the chipset in the cited material; 91mobiles identifies it as Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. That attribution should be treated as a third-party listing, not a chipset name confirmed in the cited Samsung specification.
These listings are not a like-for-like performance test. They do not establish which phone is faster in games, sustained workloads or everyday use. Avoid treating processor names or clock speeds alone as proof of benchmark superiority.

Battery and charging: P4R has more stated capacity
realme lists an 8000mAh battery and 45W charging for the P4R; Samsung gives the M47 a 6000mAh typical battery capacity. That is a 2000mAh difference in stated capacity, not a measured battery-life advantage. Screen settings, workload, signal conditions and software affect how long either phone lasts. realme also makes endurance and battery-health claims, but those are manufacturer claims rather than independent measurements in this comparison.
91mobiles lists 45W charging for the M47. Samsung’s cited product-page specifications establish the typical capacity, but the charging figure here comes from the third-party comparison listing.

Camera hardware: more modules on Samsung, not a guaranteed photo win
Samsung lists three rear cameras—50MP, 5MP and 2MP—and OIS, plus a 12MP front camera. It also lists 4K recording at 30fps. realme’s product page identifies a 50MP AI rear camera; 91mobiles lists an 8MP front camera. The M47 therefore offers more listed rear-camera hardware and higher front-camera resolution, but those numbers alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos or video. No comparable reviewed sample set for both models is established here.
Gadgets 360’s P4R review summary describes battery life as a strength and low-light camera performance and demanding performance as weaker points. Those are that publication’s review observations, not a direct test comparison against the M47. See the Gadgets 360 P4R listing and review summary.

Software support: Samsung states a clearer update commitment
Samsung says the Galaxy M47 will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch date, while noting that policy may change. The M47 launched in India on 29 June 2026, but Samsung’s wording anchors the support period to the first global launch date.

India price difference: available snapshots are not directly comparable
Prices vary by retailer, offer and configuration, so the cited figures should not be read as a live or like-for-like price gap.

The displayed 91mobiles prices differ by ₹16,011, but that arithmetic is not a reliable current price difference: the listings may reflect different RAM/storage configurations or offers. Gadgets 360’s P4R snapshot also differs from 91mobiles’ displayed P4R price. Before comparing costs, check the checkout price for the same RAM/storage tier on both phones and account for current retailer offers. Samsung’s product page does not provide a current price in the cited material.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P4R 5G if the larger stated battery, 144Hz refresh ceiling and 6.8-inch screen are your main priorities, and an HD+ LCD suits your needs.
- Choose the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G if you prioritize an FHD+ Super AMOLED panel, the listed 50MP + 5MP + 2MP rear setup with OIS, or Samsung’s explicit OS-upgrade and security-update commitment.
- Compare live prices before deciding if cost is decisive: the available figures are snapshots with configuration and offer differences, not a verified same-tier comparison.
- Do not decide on camera quality or speed from specs alone. Camera resolution, module count and processor listings do not substitute for comparable testing.
