Which phone has the better display?
The realme P3 Ultra has the sharper panel on paper: its 2800 × 1272 resolution is higher than the vivo T5x’s 2344 × 1080, despite the realme screen being only slightly larger. Both list a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. realme specifies a curved display and Gorilla Glass 7i; vivo identifies its screen as an LCD and lists 1200-nit HBM brightness. realme advertises a 1500-nit peak figure, which is a different brightness specification from vivo’s HBM figure, so the two numbers should not be treated as a direct like-for-like measurement. realme specifications, vivo specifications.

The realme uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra with a listed maximum clock of 3.35 GHz; the vivo uses a Dimensity 7400-Turbo with a listed maximum clock of 2.6 GHz. Battery and charging: larger capacity or faster charging?
The vivo T5x has the larger stated battery: 7200 mAh versus the realme P3 Ultra’s 6000 mAh typical capacity, which realme also lists as 5860 mAh rated. On charging power, realme lists 80 W SUPERVOOC and includes an 80 W adapter in the box; vivo lists a maximum of 44 W with its standard charger. This makes the trade-off straightforward on paper: vivo has more stated battery capacity, while realme offers higher charging power. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in a particular use case.
vivo’s product page advertises 40 hours of video playback, 15.4 hours of gaming, 93 hours of music playback and 14.5 hours of navigation. These are vivo promotional claims with usage caveats, not independent comparative results. realme specifications, vivo product page and claim caveats.

Camera comparison: ultrawide versatility or higher selfie resolution?
Both phones list a 50 MP main rear camera, but realme specifies OIS on its Sony IMX896 main camera and adds an 8 MP ultrawide. The vivo lists a Sony IMX852 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera instead. For selfies, vivo lists a 32 MP front camera against realme’s 16 MP. These configurations show which lenses and headline resolutions are offered; megapixel counts do not by themselves establish image quality, and the specifications are not a substitute for comparable camera tests. realme specifications, vivo specifications.

Software, build and protection
The official realme page lists realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, while vivo lists OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. These are the software generations stated on the respective product pages; they do not establish how long either phone will receive updates.

The realme is listed at approximately 183–186 g and 7.38–7.47 mm, with variation by finish; vivo lists the T5x at 219 g and 8.39 mm. vivo’s official materials state IP68/IP69 protection (the overview uses IP69+) and caution that resistance may diminish over time; the phone is not a professional waterproof device, and water exposure should not be treated as risk-free. Smartprix’s comparison for the vivo T5x 8 GB/256 GB configuration showed ₹31,999 for the realme P3 Ultra and ₹32,889 for the vivo T5x; that page was marked updated September 16, 2026. Before deciding, compare the exact RAM and storage configuration, seller, bank offer, exchange terms and final checkout total on the day you buy. A headline price without those details may not represent the offer available to you.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P3 Ultra if a higher-resolution curved display, an ultrawide rear camera, OIS listed for the main camera, or faster specified charging matters most to you.
- Choose the vivo T5x if you prioritize the larger stated battery capacity, a higher-resolution front camera, or the listed IP68/IP69 protection claims.
- Compare the exact variants before buying if price is the deciding factor: the vivo has three listed RAM/storage combinations, and the price snapshots differ by seller.
