On paper, vivo also offers a larger battery and longer listed software support; realme lists LPDDR5X memory and a higher-resolution display. A reliable current price gap cannot be established from the available listings, so compare the same storage tier and seller before buying.

Which phone has the more useful camera setup?
The most consequential difference is the extra rear-camera role. The realme pairs its 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera with an 8MP ultrawide, which is the more relevant option for fitting a broad landscape or group into one frame. The vivo adds a 50MP OIS periscope camera with 3x optical reach, giving it a dedicated longer-range framing option, alongside its 50MP OIS main camera and 2MP bokeh camera. The camera configurations are listed on the realme product page and vivo specification page.

Those specifications describe different tools, not a proven overall photo-quality winner. No independent head-to-head camera testing is available here. Choose based on whether you are more likely to use an ultrawide view or a dedicated 3x telephoto view, rather than assuming megapixels alone determine image quality.
Performance: chipset and memory specifications
realme lists the Dimensity 8350 Ultra and LPDDR5X RAM; vivo lists the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and LPDDR4X RAM. Both chipsets are specified as 4nm. These are platform and memory-type differences, but they do not establish how the phones compare in sustained gaming, heat, app loading or battery use.

Both manufacturers publish AnTuTu figures, but they should not be treated as a head-to-head result: realme claims 1,450,000+ from its lab and says results can vary with test conditions and calculation methods, while vivo lists 1,022,305 without establishing equivalent conditions. These are vendor claims, not comparable independent device tests. See the realme product page and vivo product page.
Display differences
Both phones are marketed with curved AMOLED panels and a 120Hz refresh rate. realme specifies a 1.5K quad-curved display; vivo gives a precise 2392×1080 resolution for its 6.77-inch screen and describes it as quad-curved. realme therefore lists the higher resolution, but specifications alone do not establish which display looks better in everyday use.
Battery capacity and charging
realme lists a 6000mAh typical battery and up to 80W charger output. Its product page also claims a 1%-to-100% charge in 47 minutes under its stated lab conditions; that is a manufacturer test result, not a guaranteed charging time for every user.

- Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset: The Realme GT6 is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, designed to easily handle high load scenarios in gaming, providing smooth multitasking performance and excellent energy efficiency. Users can flexibly control device performance between 50% and 100% by adjusting CPU and GPU performance settings to meet different needs.
- Ultra bright display technology: The GT6 uses cutting-edge luminescent materials to create an easy to read and visually stunning screen experience. Its ultra-high brightness display screen (up to 6000 nits) and 2160 Hz PWM dimming function not only improve viewing comfort, but also ensure the accuracy of color display.
- Top of the line Sony LYT-808 OIS camera: The GT6 is equipped with an industry-leading 1/1.4-inch large-sized sensor, providing unparalleled performance for night photography. With the HyperTone imaging engine, realistic colors and delicate light and shadow contrasts can be captured in both bright and dim environments. Super OIS technology further enhances image stability and clarity, improving the success rate of shooting.
- Iceberg Steam Cooling System: By combining 10014 square millimeters of 3D tempered dual VC heat dissipation plates and a 9-layer cooling structure, coupled with side full zone cooling design, GT6 achieves efficient and consistent high-performance gaming experience, while significantly reducing heat perception and ensuring temperature control during long-term gaming.
- Intelligent prediction and personalized advice: The built-in artificial intelligence can identify your usage habits, predict your needs, and provide accurate advice. For example, when you long press the text to book a hotel, the AI will automatically pop up a series of map prompts to help you quickly find the best route to your destination.
vivo lists 6500mAh typical capacity and 6330mAh rated capacity, with charging support up to 90W. vivo says actual charging power is dynamically adjusted and depends on usage. The larger listed capacity and higher maximum charging support do not by themselves prove longer battery life or a faster real-world charge. See the vivo specifications and realme specifications.
Durability ratings and their limits
realme lists IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings; vivo lists IP68 and IP69. These ratings come from controlled test conditions, not a promise that a phone is waterproof in every situation. Both brands warn that resistance can decline through wear and use. vivo specifically says liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Check the manufacturers’ qualifications on the realme product page and vivo specification page.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Software support: vivo has the longer listed commitment
Both phones launched with Android 15, according to 91mobiles. The comparison source lists 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates for realme, versus 4 years and 6 years respectively for vivo. vivo’s own T4 Pro Store listing also states four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. The realme support duration was not confirmed on the official product page available here, so its period should be understood as a third-party listing rather than an independently verified manufacturer commitment.

Price difference in India: no reliable like-for-like gap
As observed on October 5, 2026, the vivo Store showed ₹27,999 against an MRP of ₹32,999 for the selected Nitro Blue 8GB+128GB T4 Pro, but that listing was marked “Out of stock.” The 91mobiles comparison page showed ₹31,999 for the realme P3 Ultra at Flipkart and listed the vivo as unavailable in any store. These are different listing contexts and do not establish a current, matched price comparison.
Do not treat the difference between those displayed amounts as a current saving. Prices and stock can change, and a fair comparison needs both phones available from comparable sellers on the same date and with the same RAM and storage tier. Check the vivo Store listing and 91mobiles comparison for the latest listed availability.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the vivo T4 Pro if a dedicated 3x periscope telephoto camera, larger stated battery capacity or the longer manufacturer-confirmed update period matters most to you.
- Consider the realme P3 Ultra if you want an ultrawide rear camera, LPDDR5X RAM as specified, or the higher stated display resolution.
- For performance or overall camera quality, specifications do not settle the choice; look for independent testing that matches your intended use.
- For value, compare in-stock listings for the same RAM and storage configuration before deciding; the available price observations do not support a definitive current gap.
