The realme P3 Ultra is the stronger paper-spec choice for chipset and charging, while the TECNO POVA 8 Pro lists a faster-refresh display and larger battery. In a 2026 India price snapshot, the P3 Ultra was listed ₹18,000 cheaper—but that comparison is not a live quote, and the manufacturers’ cited specifications come from different regional pages. Choose based on your local model, price and priorities, not on headline numbers alone.

The figures below come from realme’s India specifications page and TECNO’s Saudi Arabia specifications page. They describe manufacturer-listed hardware, not results from a controlled comparison. Regional configurations may differ.

Which phone is faster?

The listed platforms favor the realme P3 Ultra on paper: it uses a Dimensity 8350 Ultra, while TECNO lists a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate. That makes the realme the more promising choice if chipset tier is your priority, but specifications alone do not establish how much faster it is in games or everyday use. Performance can also depend on software, cooling, memory configuration and workload; no same-method benchmark results are established here.

Display: higher refresh rate or more pixels?

TECNO lists the POVA 8 Pro’s panel at up to 144Hz, versus up to 120Hz for the P3 Ultra. A higher refresh-rate ceiling can support smoother motion in compatible content, but the benefit depends on software and what you do with the phone. realme’s display is slightly larger and has the higher stated resolution: 6.83 inches and 2800 × 1272, compared with TECNO’s 6.78 inches and 2644 × 1208.

TECNO lists a 4500-nit peak-brightness figure and realme lists 1500 nits. Those figures may reflect different measurement conditions, so they are not a reliable direct brightness test between the two phones. Treat them as manufacturer claims rather than equivalent measurements.

Battery and charging: capacity versus speed

TECNO lists the larger battery at 6500mAh; realme lists 6000mAh typical capacity and 5860mAh rated capacity. A higher capacity can be useful, but it does not prove which phone lasts longer: screen settings, network conditions, software and workload all affect endurance.

For charging, realme lists 80W SUPERVOOC against TECNO’s 45W Super Charge. That gives the P3 Ultra the higher stated charging wattage, not a guaranteed charge-time advantage of any particular size. realme says its package includes an 80W adapter; confirm box contents for the specific market and seller before purchase.

realme GT6 Smartphone 5G 8+256GB, Snapdragon 8s Gen3 Processor, 120Hz 6.78 '' 6000nit Ultra Bright Display, 50MP Sony LYT-808 OIS Camera, 5500mAh Battery, NFC, Dual SIM, Silver (Without Adapter)
  • Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset: The Realme GT6 is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, designed to easily handle high load scenarios in gaming, providing smooth multitasking performance and excellent energy efficiency. Users can flexibly control device performance between 50% and 100% by adjusting CPU and GPU performance settings to meet different needs.
  • Ultra bright display technology: The GT6 uses cutting-edge luminescent materials to create an easy to read and visually stunning screen experience. Its ultra-high brightness display screen (up to 6000 nits) and 2160 Hz PWM dimming function not only improve viewing comfort, but also ensure the accuracy of color display.
  • Top of the line Sony LYT-808 OIS camera: The GT6 is equipped with an industry-leading 1/1.4-inch large-sized sensor, providing unparalleled performance for night photography. With the HyperTone imaging engine, realistic colors and delicate light and shadow contrasts can be captured in both bright and dim environments. Super OIS technology further enhances image stability and clarity, improving the success rate of shooting.
  • Iceberg Steam Cooling System: By combining 10014 square millimeters of 3D tempered dual VC heat dissipation plates and a 9-layer cooling structure, coupled with side full zone cooling design, GT6 achieves efficient and consistent high-performance gaming experience, while significantly reducing heat perception and ensuring temperature control during long-term gaming.
  • Intelligent prediction and personalized advice: The built-in artificial intelligence can identify your usage habits, predict your needs, and provide accurate advice. For example, when you long press the text to book a hotel, the AI will automatically pop up a series of map prompts to help you quickly find the best route to your destination.

Camera comparison: similar rear-camera setup, no photo-quality verdict

Both phones list a 50MP stabilized main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. TECNO identifies the POVA 8 Pro’s main sensor as Sony LYTIA 700C on its product page; realme names the P3 Ultra’s as Sony IMX896. The P3 Ultra also lists a 16MP front camera, compared with 13MP on the POVA 8 Pro.

These specifications do not show which phone takes better photos or video. Megapixel counts and stabilization are only part of camera performance; image processing, focus, exposure and low-light handling matter too. If camera quality is decisive, look for comparable sample photos or independent testing of the exact regional variants.

Software and regional differences to check

The cited pages list realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 for the India P3 Ultra and HiOS 16 based on Android 16 for the Saudi Arabia POVA 8 Pro. These are page-listed versions, not a guarantee of the software currently shipping in every country or of future update duration. Check the seller’s exact model and the manufacturer’s local update policy.

The comparison also spans two markets, so do not assume that memory options, network-band support, warranty coverage or included accessories match in your country. Before paying, verify the model number and local warranty, and confirm the RAM and storage configuration on the listing.

Price difference: the India listing snapshot

91mobiles’ India comparison page showed the realme P3 Ultra at ₹31,999 and the TECNO POVA 8 Pro at ₹49,999 when checked in 2026—a listed difference of ₹18,000 in the realme’s favor. This is a third-party listing snapshot, not an official manufacturer price or a guaranteed current checkout amount. The page’s figures should not be treated as a like-for-like comparison unless the variants match.

Check the current price, exact RAM/storage variant, stock and applicable offers on the seller’s checkout page before deciding. The displayed comparison is available at 91mobiles’ India comparison page.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the realme P3 Ultra if

  • You prioritize the higher-tier chipset listed by its manufacturer.
  • You want the higher stated charging wattage and the cited India listing is cheaper for the configuration you need.
  • You prefer its slightly larger, higher-resolution display or its higher-megapixel front-camera specification.

Choose the TECNO POVA 8 Pro if

  • You value its listed 144Hz refresh-rate ceiling.
  • You prefer the larger stated battery capacity.
  • The exact local variant, warranty and price make it a better fit where you live.

For gaming, camera quality or battery life, these spec sheets cannot settle the real-world winner. Look for independent comparisons that test the same regional configurations under comparable conditions, and weigh those results against the price you can actually pay.
