Which phone has the better display?
Choose the P3 Ultra for a larger curved screen
At 6.83 inches, the P3 Ultra has the larger listed panel and a curved design, with a stated resolution of 2800 × 1272 pixels and refresh rate up to 120Hz. It is the more natural fit if screen size and curved edges matter to you.

Choose the Redmi for a smaller listed screen
The Redmi Turbo 5’s 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel is smaller, while also listing a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi advertises peak brightness up to 3500 nits, but that manufacturer figure should not be treated as a directly comparable brightness test against realme’s specification.
Battery and charging: Redmi leads on listed numbers
Xiaomi lists a 7540mAh battery and 100W HyperCharge for the Redmi Turbo 5. realme lists the P3 Ultra at 6000mAh typical capacity (5860mAh rated) with 80W charging, and says an adapter is included. On the stated capacity and charging wattage, the Redmi has the stronger specifications. Those figures do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges under a particular set of conditions; charging time depends on conditions.

Chipsets and performance claims
The P3 Ultra is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra, a 4nm chipset with a maximum listed clock speed of 3.35GHz. The Redmi Turbo 5 uses a Dimensity 8500 Ultra, also listed as 4nm, with a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz. These specifications alone do not prove which phone will feel faster in real use.
The manufacturers also publish different AnTuTu claims: realme’s March 10, 2025 launch release says the P3 Ultra scored over 1.45 million, while Xiaomi India’s 2026 product FAQ says the Redmi Turbo 5 scores over 2.3 million. These are company figures, and the consulted Xiaomi FAQ extract does not specify benchmark conditions. They are not a controlled head-to-head result.

Camera hardware: similar rear-camera layout, different sensors
Both India-market specification pages list a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. realme identifies its main sensor as the Sony IMX896; Xiaomi lists the Sony IMX882. The P3 Ultra has a listed 16MP front camera, while the Redmi Turbo 5 lists 20MP. Resolution and sensor names do not establish which phone takes better photos; no matched image-quality test is available here.

India price difference: check configuration and live offers
Gadgets Now lists the realme P3 Ultra at ₹31,999 and the Redmi Turbo 5 at ₹41,999, but these are third-party listing snapshots—not guaranteed official prices. The same comparison page also shows a P3 Ultra 8GB/256GB listing at ₹28,999. That difference illustrates why a single price gap can mislead if the configuration or offer differs.

Gadgets Now lists two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the P3 Ultra, but that duration is not confirmed on the realme specifications page cited here. Check realme’s current support policy for the exact model before treating update duration as a deciding factor. Sources: Xiaomi India FAQ, realme India specifications and Gadgets Now.
