Which phone is better for performance and gaming?
The P3 Ultra lists the Dimensity 8350 Ultra, while the P4s lists the Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G. The model names and official specifications position the P3 Ultra with the higher-tier chipset, but they do not establish a measured, independent head-to-head performance result.

The P4s page also says its advertised 144FPS gameplay is achieved “through dedicated chip frame interpolation, non-native game rendering.” That is not the same as native rendering at 144 frames per second; supported games and the interpolation method matter. For buyers choosing primarily for demanding games, the chipset specification favors the P3 Ultra on paper, but the supplied official claims do not settle real-world frame rates, heat or sustained performance.
Battery: larger capacity is not a runtime test
realme lists the P4s at 8000mAh typical and 7820mAh rated, compared with 6000mAh typical and 5860mAh rated for the P3 Ultra. That gives the P4s the larger stated battery capacity, a useful advantage to consider if capacity is a priority. It does not prove how many hours either phone will last: display settings, signal strength, apps and workload affect endurance, and no independent matched battery test is established here.

Both models are listed for charging up to 80W, but the charging labels differ—80W SUPERVOOC for the P3 Ultra and up to 80W Ultra Charge for the P4s. The matching maximum rating does not demonstrate equal charging times. Capacity figures and charging specifications are from realme’s P3 Ultra and P4s specification pages.

The P4s has the higher listed refresh-rate ceiling, up to 144Hz, and its specifications give a 1272 × 2772 resolution. The P3 Ultra’s 6.83-inch display is curved and listed at up to 120Hz. A higher maximum refresh rate can make supported content look smoother, but it does not guarantee a visibly better experience in every app or use case; actual behavior depends on content and settings.

Cameras and video recording
On paper, the rear-camera layouts are close: both official specification pages list a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. realme identifies the P3 Ultra’s main sensor as a Sony IMX896 and advertises 4K recording at 60fps on its product page. The P4s specifications list 4K at 30fps. Those listed resolutions, stabilization and frame rates do not establish which phone takes better photos or performs better in low light; no matched camera test is available here.
For someone who specifically wants the higher advertised 4K frame rate, the P3 Ultra’s product-page claim is the relevant distinction. realme lists the P3 Ultra at about 183g for the white plate version and up to about 186g depending on finish; the P4s is about 208g. The P3 Ultra is the lighter option on the listed figures. If hand comfort or carrying weight is important, compare the specific finish and variant rather than relying on a single weight figure.

Storage configuration
Both phones are listed with 128GB or 256GB storage options and 8GB or 12GB RAM combinations, though exact combinations and local stock may differ. realme explicitly says the P4s does not support memory-card expansion. The cited P3 Ultra specifications do not state a memory-card expansion option, so verify the exact variant rather than assuming it can be expanded.

Update commitment
The P4s product page states a commitment of three Android OS updates and four years of security patches. The reviewed P3 Ultra material identifies Android 15-based realme UI 6.0, but does not establish a comparable update-duration promise. That is a difference in what the cited material states, not proof that the P3 Ultra will receive no further updates. Buyers for whom support duration matters should confirm the applicable policy for their region and model.
Price difference: compare like with like
A dependable current price difference between the P3 Ultra and P4s is not established. A comparison-site snapshot can show different prices by configuration or page state, and it is not a substitute for live, equivalent offers. Smartprix’s comparison page is useful as a comparison reference, not as a verified current quote.
- Choose the same RAM and storage tier for both phones, such as 8GB/128GB or 12GB/256GB, if both are available.
- Check the same date and retailer or marketplace, and compare the actual seller and stock status.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the P3 Ultra if the lighter listed weight, Dimensity 8350 Ultra specification or advertised 4K 60fps recording matters most to you.
- Choose the P4s if its larger stated battery capacity, 144Hz display ceiling or published update-duration commitment better fits your priorities.
- Compare carefully if camera quality, battery life or price is decisive. The shared camera resolutions do not establish photo quality, capacity figures do not establish runtime, and a fair price comparison requires matching variants and offer conditions.
Neither phone is a universal winner from the official specifications alone. The best buy depends on which listed differences matter to you and the live price of the exact variant you can purchase.
