The realme P3 Ultra lists faster charging (80W against 68W) and a wider set of water and dust ratings. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion lists a larger battery (7,000mAh against about 6,000mAh), a higher maximum refresh rate (144Hz against 120Hz) and a 32MP selfie camera. Price is the open question: the Motorola India storefront showed a figure, but the realme pages we checked did not show a current India selling price, so a reliable price difference cannot yet be calculated. This article compares the manufacturer-published India specifications, explains which differences matter for which kind of buyer, and shows how to check the price on matching variants.
Which configurations you are actually comparing
Before comparing prices, match the storage and RAM variants. The two manufacturers publish different configuration lists, and the sales listings you find may not offer the same combinations.

| Model | RAM / storage configurations listed on the official India specifications page | Software listed |
|---|---|---|
| realme P3 Ultra | 8GB + 128GB, or 12GB + 256GB | realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 |
| Motorola Edge 70 Fusion | 8GB or 12GB RAM, with 128GB or 256GB storage | Android 16 |
Motorola’s specifications page does not pair each RAM figure with a specific storage figure in the material reviewed, so check the exact combination on each seller’s listing before you compare. Motorola’s own support page makes the same point in its wording: “Certain specifications may vary by market.” Treat every spec in this article as the India figure published by the manufacturer, and confirm it against the box or the listing you are buying.

Price: what is known and what is not
Motorola’s official India smartphone storefront showed the Edge 70 Fusion at a displayed price of ₹30,999 against an MRP of ₹42,999 when it was checked in 2026. The page offered several RAM and storage configurations, and the material reviewed does not say which configuration the displayed figure applies to. Retailer prices move often, so this should be read as a snapshot, not a guaranteed offer.

realme’s official product and specification pages that were reviewed did not show a current India selling price for the P3 Ultra. Without a price for the same variant from both brands, any statement about which phone is cheaper would be a guess. The steps below show how to produce a fair comparison yourself.
How to check the price difference on the same day
- Pick one configuration that both brands sell in India, for example the 8GB + 128GB version if you are comparing a base model.
- Open realme’s India store or an authorised realme retailer and note the selling price, any bank or coupon offer, and the exchange terms shown on the product page.
- Open Motorola’s India storefront and note the displayed price for the same RAM and storage pair. If the page does not name the pair, add the item to the cart and confirm the price shown there.
- Record the date and time of each check. Separate the MRP (list price) from the selling price and from any offer that requires a card, a coupon or an exchange.
- Compare the final payable amount for both phones on the same day, including delivery and any extended warranty you would add.
Specification comparison
The table below uses each manufacturer’s published India figures. Where a figure is a marketing or test-condition claim, it is labelled as such.

Reading the display numbers
Motorola’s higher refresh rate can make scrolling and animations look smoother, but the two maximum figures are not directly comparable. Motorola’s “up to 144Hz” and realme’s “up to 120Hz” describe the highest rate each panel can reach, not the rate that runs in every app. The two pages also describe their panels differently, with realme emphasising a curved design and Motorola naming its AMOLED panel. A refresh-rate number alone does not establish overall display quality, which depends on brightness, colour accuracy and how the phone manages refresh rate, none of which these specifications settle.

Reading the protection ratings
Both phones carry IP69 and IP68 ratings, but realme also lists IP66, while Motorola lists MIL-STD 810H, a US military standard that covers environmental stresses such as shock and temperature. These labels come from different test programmes and conditions. A matching label does not mean the phones were tested the same way, so compare the ratings as listed rather than treating them as equal.

Battery life and charging
Motorola’s 7,000mAh battery is the larger listed capacity, which usually favours longer use between charges. Capacity alone does not decide runtime, because the processor, display and software all affect power draw, and the material reviewed contains no independent endurance test for either phone. realme lists the faster charger at 80W against Motorola’s 68W, so it is the better match for buyers who charge often in short gaps. realme also publishes its own claims of 47 minutes for 1–100% charging and 17 hours of video playback. These are manufacturer figures; the test conditions behind them were not independently verified, and actual charging times depend on the charger and cable you use.
Gaming
The two chips are different designs and no tested frame-rate or thermal comparison was available for this article. realme reports a score of 1,450,000+ on AnTuTu, measured by realme Lab, and notes that results can vary with environment and usage. That is a manufacturer-reported figure, not an independent benchmark, and it does not show which phone will hold higher frame rates in a particular game. For gaming, the listed refresh rate and the chip are the starting points, and real-world sessions in your games are the only reliable test.

Photography
Both phones list a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, but the sensors have different names and the ultrawide and selfie hardware differ. Megapixel counts and sensor names do not establish which phone produces better photos, because processing, lens quality and tuning matter as much as hardware. Motorola’s larger ultrawide and selfie sensors may matter if you shoot wide scenes or frequent video calls. No controlled side-by-side camera test was available, so the hardware lists are a guide to what each phone includes, not a verdict on image quality.
Durability
If you expect rain, dust or occasional drops, both phones offer water and dust protection. realme’s wider IP list may suit buyers who want the IP66 rating named explicitly. Motorola’s MIL-STD 810H listing may suit buyers who care about that standard. Neither rating guarantees survival of a fall, and screen protection depends on the glass as well as the case you use.
Quick decision guide
- Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion if you want the larger listed battery, the higher maximum refresh rate, or the 32MP selfie camera, and the storefront price for your chosen configuration is clearly lower on the day you buy.
- Choose the realme P3 Ultra if fast charging of 80W is your priority, you want the IP66 rating named alongside IP68 and IP69, or the realme price for your configuration is lower once offers are counted.
- If the prices are close, decide on the factors the specifications cannot settle: warranty terms in your country, service access, and how each phone feels in your hand and in your daily apps.
Checks to complete before you buy
- Confirm that both listings offer the same RAM and storage pair, since the two brands publish different configuration lists.
- Record the price and date on both brands’ India pages, and separate the MRP from the selling price and any conditional offers.
- Read the warranty terms on the seller’s page, because they can differ by retailer and by market.
- Check the official specification page again on the day of purchase, as the figures in this article reflect the manufacturer pages as reviewed in 2026.
Once you have matched the variant and the price, the decision usually comes down to the battery and charging trade-off and your use case, rather than to the headline numbers alone.
