The realme P3 Ultra 5G is best suited to buyers who put gaming-oriented performance, a large battery, fast charging and a curved AMOLED display ahead of camera flexibility or a flat screen. Its Dimensity 8350 Ultra is a strong hardware foundation, but review tests raise questions about sustained performance, and outdoor readability and software support deserve scrutiny. Buy it only if the current price for your exact configuration makes sense against alternatives.
What the realme P3 Ultra gets right
Performance-focused hardware
realme equips the India-market P3 Ultra with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra, 8GB or 12GB of physical RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The company also advertises dynamic RAM; that feature uses storage as a software memory extension and is not equivalent to having the same amount of physical RAM. 91mobiles regards the phone as a strong option for gaming and workloads, while GSMArena reports smooth everyday operation. Those assessments describe capability and ordinary use, not a guarantee of sustained performance in every game or app.

Large battery and fast charging
realme lists a 6000mAh typical battery capacity (5860mAh rated) and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. The India specifications page lists an 80W adapter and a protective case in the box. 91mobiles and India Today both describe battery life positively, but capacity and reviewer impressions do not establish a fixed number of hours for every user; screen brightness, network conditions, games and other workloads affect endurance.

Curved, high-refresh AMOLED screen
The 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED has a resolution of 2800 × 1272 pixels, up to a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling, according to realme’s India specifications. The company lists 1500 nits as peak brightness and specifies Gorilla Glass 7i. That peak figure is a manufacturer specification, not a promise of uniform brightness or easy viewing in every lighting condition. The curved edges give the phone a more immersive look, but they are a matter of preference and can be less appealing to buyers who prefer flat screens.

Useful main camera, but limited reach
The rear setup pairs a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide; the front camera is 16MP. 91mobiles reports sharp, detailed main-camera results and good daylight and night-mode output, while noting that the camera system is not the most versatile in its segment. There is no telephoto camera, so buyers who often photograph distant subjects should compare alternatives rather than judge the system by the main sensor’s megapixel count. The official India specifications list rear video recording up to 4K at 60fps.
Distinctive, lightweight design
realme promotes the Glowing Lunar design, and India Today describes the back as a moon image that glows. The company lists a weight of approximately 183g and thickness of 7.38mm. Those figures and the finish vary in practical relevance by the exact colour or SKU; confirm which version is offered where you buy.

Where the P3 Ultra has trade-offs
Sunlight visibility is not settled by the peak-brightness figure
Outdoor-display impressions differ. 91mobiles found peak brightness underwhelming for easy reading in direct sunlight, whereas India Today said the Ultra was brighter outdoors than the standard P3. These are reviewers’ observations in their respective review conditions, not a universal result. If you regularly use your phone under strong sun, check the screen in person if possible.

Sustained heavy use may reduce performance
In GSMArena’s 2025 stress tests, the phone retained 67% of maximum CPU performance and 57% of maximum GPU power. GSMArena also reported smooth performance in normal use, so the stress-test results should be read as evidence about prolonged demanding loads rather than a prediction that everyday use will feel slow. India Today separately noted some lag when switching between YouTube and Instagram DMs. Neither observation establishes how every unit or workload will behave.

Software experience and update promises need verification
GSMArena reports Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 and says realme promised three major Android updates. 91mobiles, by contrast, reports two major OS updates and describes the software as clunky and weighed down by preinstalled apps. Because the review accounts conflict, do not treat either update count as definitive: check realme’s current official support commitment for the specific region and model before purchasing.

How it compares with alternatives
GSMArena identifies the iQOO Neo 10R, OnePlus Nord CE5, vivo V50 and POCO X7 Pro as alternatives. Its review describes the iQOO Neo 10R as faster, with a larger battery and better selfie camera; the Nord CE5 as offering microSD expansion and higher battery capacity but lower screen resolution; the vivo V50 as more camera-focused but more expensive; and the POCO X7 Pro as more powerful with a Dolby Vision display, though with inferior battery results in GSMArena’s tests. These are that reviewer’s comparative assessments, not permanent rankings; product availability and prices change.

The P3 Ultra launched in India on March 19, 2025, after realme’s announcement on March 10 described it as part of an India-exclusive P series. 91mobiles records ₹26,999 as a launch-era India price for the 8GB/128GB configuration; GSMArena lists ₹24,000 for 8GB/128GB and ₹28,000 for 8GB/256GB on its comparison page. These source-era figures differ and are not current-price guidance. Check the live price, stock, exact SKU and included box contents with the seller before deciding. realme’s India specifications list the adapter and case in the box; contents may differ by SKU or market.

realme’s March 10, 2025 launch announcement claimed an AnTuTu score above 1.45 million, three hours of stable 90fps BGMI gameplay, and 80W bypass charging. These are manufacturer claims, not independent test results, and should not be substituted for sustained-performance testing. The manufacturer’s India specifications list 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4; verify local band compatibility and warranty if considering an imported unit.
