The realme P3 Pro 5G stands out for its larger, higher-resolution curved display and faster advertised wired charging; the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G offers a more versatile listed rear-camera setup and a clearly stated six-generation OS and six-year security-update commitment. Which is the better buy depends on the exact variant and current Indian price, as well as which features matter most to you.

Display: bigger and sharper, or Super AMOLED?
The P3 Pro has the larger panel and higher listed resolution: 6.83 inches at 1.5K, versus the M47’s approximately 6.66-inch 1080 × 2340 display. Both are listed at up to 120 Hz. realme describes its screen as quad-curved, while Samsung specifies Super AMOLED technology.

Samsung’s named panel technology may be a deciding preference, but these specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in person. Curved edges can also suit some users better than others.

Performance: what the chip names do—and do not—tell you
realme lists the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3; Samsung lists the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. These identify the platforms inside the phones, but do not by themselves prove which handset will perform better in a particular game, app, or sustained workload. No matched independent benchmark or gaming test is available here, so choose based on the published specs rather than assuming a real-world speed result.
Cameras: Samsung lists more rear-camera flexibility
The M47’s listed 50 MP, 5 MP, and 2 MP rear-camera arrangement includes an additional camera compared with the P3 Pro’s 50 MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera and 2 MP secondary camera. That makes Samsung the more flexible choice on the listed rear-camera hardware. Samsung also lists a 12 MP front camera.

More cameras or a higher megapixel count do not establish better photo quality. Without matched camera samples or testing, there is no sound basis to say which phone takes better pictures.
Battery and charging: compare the qualifications
realme states that the P3 Pro battery is 6,000 mAh typical and 5,860 mAh rated. Samsung gives the M47 a rated capacity of 5,882 mAh. These figures use different stated capacity categories, so the typical realme figure should not be treated as directly equivalent to Samsung’s rated figure.

realme advertises 80 W charging and says the phone can charge from 1% to 50% in 24 minutes. That is the manufacturer’s claim, not a matched comparison with the M47. Comparison listings report 45 W charging for Samsung; verify the exact model and included charging arrangement with the seller before purchase. Charging time and battery life in everyday use depend on conditions and usage.
Software updates: Samsung states the clearer commitment
Samsung promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from the Galaxy M47’s first global launch. Secondary comparison data lists two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the P3 Pro, but that should not be treated as an official guarantee without confirmation from realme’s current support documentation. For a buyer who prioritizes a documented support horizon, Samsung’s published commitment is the clearer one.

Price difference in India: verify the exact listing
A 91mobiles comparison-page snapshot accessed in 2026 showed the realme P3 Pro at ₹20,999 and the Galaxy M47 5G at ₹35,999—a ₹15,000 difference in that snapshot. Other comparison pages showed different M47 prices, so these are not dependable live quotes. Check the current price, storage variant, seller, stock, warranty, and any offer before deciding; comparing different memory or storage configurations can distort the value comparison.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the realme P3 Pro for the published spec priorities: its larger 1.5K curved display and advertised 80 W charging make it the more compelling fit if those features matter most.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 for camera hardware and stated support: Samsung lists an additional rear camera and publishes a six-generation OS and six-year security-update commitment.
- Use the live price of the same configuration as the tie-breaker: the comparison snapshot shows a substantial gap, but current prices vary. Check matching storage and memory variants rather than relying on a past listing.
For either phone, verify the exact model, seller, warranty, returns, and availability in India. realme describes water and dust resistance as tested to IP69/IP68/IP66 and warns that resistance can decline over time; it also says immersion damage is not covered by the stated warranty. Do not interpret an IP rating as a promise that the phone is waterproof.
