The Realme P3 Pro 5G is a strong mid-range phone for buyers who want a big, smooth display, steady everyday and gaming performance, long battery life and a tougher body. It is not an all-rounder. It has no ultrawide camera, it ships with preinstalled apps, and reviewers reported accidental touches on the curved screen and occasional multitasking stutters. This review pulls together Realme’s specifications and the February–March 2025 verdicts of 91mobiles, India Today and Gadgets 360.
Key specifications (manufacturer claims)
These figures come from Realme India’s product page. They are manufacturer claims, not independent test results.

| Area | Realme’s listed spec |
|---|---|
| Chipset | Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 |
| Display | 6.83-inch, 1.5K, 120Hz, quad-curved |
| Battery | 6,000mAh typical (5,860mAh rated) |
| Charging | 80W |
| Main camera | 50MP Sony IMX896 with OIS |
| Water resistance | IP69 marketed as the maximum rating |
“Typical” capacity is the figure used in marketing. The rated capacity of 5,860mAh is the minimum guaranteed, so it is the more conservative number.
Display: big and vivid, but the curves have a cost
91mobiles describes the panel as vivid with good outdoor visibility. India Today liked the immersive look but said the curved edges caused accidental touches when it held the phone horizontally, which matters for gaming and video. Gadgets 360 also criticised the display against brighter rivals. If you dislike curved edges, or want the brightest panel in the class, try the phone in hand first.

Performance: smooth, with a multitasking caveat
India Today found everyday use and a one-hour Call of Duty session smooth on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. It also noticed occasional stutters while multitasking. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a guarantee for every unit or software version.
Battery and charging: a clear strength
- 91mobiles reports about 1.5 days of moderate use and a full recharge in just under 40 minutes under its own test conditions.
- India Today describes all-day use and roughly an hour for a full charge.
The two charging times differ, so expect your result to vary with usage, temperature, charger and software state.

Cameras: a good main sensor, limited versatility
The rear setup is a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS plus a 2MP portrait camera. There is no ultrawide lens. 91mobiles found the main camera capable in its samples. India Today noted occasional shutter-speed and texture problems and criticised the front camera. If you shoot wide group photos or interiors, the missing ultrawide is the biggest limit. 91mobiles compared the phone with the POCO X7 and iQOO Z9s Pro and described the iQOO’s camera system as more versatile.
Software and durability
All three reviewers flagged preinstalled apps. Gadgets 360 described the software as heavily loaded with bloatware. Plan on spending time removing or disabling apps after setup.
Realme markets IP69 water resistance. 91mobiles lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings and says the phone held up in its light-submersion test. It also cautions against pushing the limits. A rating is not the same as being waterproof, and water damage is generally not something to count on being covered, so check Realme’s warranty terms.

Price and what is not established
India Today and Gadgets 360 reported a launch base price of ₹23,999 for the 8GB/128GB version in February–March 2025. That is a launch-era price, not today’s. Check a current retailer listing for the same RAM and storage before you decide.

India Today (Unnati Gusain, 18 February 2025) gave it 8/10. 91mobiles reviewer Dhruv Joshi, in a review published 18 February 2025 and updated 8 May 2025, wrote: “The Realme P3 Pro is easily among the most compelling mid-range options available in India right now.” That is one reviewer’s opinion, and Gadgets 360 was more critical on the display and software.

Verdict: who should buy it
Buy it if battery life, a large smooth screen, gaming and durability matter most, and you’re comfortable with a main-plus-portrait camera setup and with removing preinstalled apps.
Look elsewhere if you want an ultrawide lens, a flat screen, a cleaner software experience or the brightest display. Compare the iQOO Z9s Pro and POCO X7 on camera versatility and current price for equivalent RAM and storage.
