The realme P2 Pro 5G may suit you better if an ultra-wide rear camera or a higher-resolution selfie camera matters more. Both are listed with a 50 MP main camera and 80 W wired charging, so the choice comes down to those trade-offs—and to the price of the exact RAM and storage variant you plan to buy.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the P3 Pro if you prioritize the newer chipset generation, larger and higher-resolution screen, or larger stated battery.
- Consider the P2 Pro if you want an ultra-wide camera or prefer its higher listed selfie-camera resolution.
- Compare live prices by variant before deciding. The displayed prices in comparison listings differ, and they do not establish a guaranteed current selling price.
Neither model is universally better. The specifications below describe listed hardware; they do not establish that one phone takes better photos or lasts longer in every person’s use.

Display: bigger and sharper versus a higher listed peak brightness
Both phones are listed with 120 Hz displays. The P3 Pro’s 6.83-inch panel has a listed resolution of 1272 × 2800, compared with 6.7 inches and 1080 × 2412 for the P2 Pro. That gives the P3 Pro the larger, more finely resolved screen on paper. The listed peak-brightness figures go the other way: 91mobiles gives 2,000 nits for P2 Pro and 1,500 nits for P3 Pro. Peak brightness figures are specifications, not a promise that either display will sustain that level in ordinary use.

Each phone is listed with a 50 MP main rear camera and optical image stabilization (OIS). The P2 Pro pairs it with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, while the P3 Pro’s listed secondary rear camera is a 2 MP depth camera. If you often want to fit more of a landscape, room, or group into a frame, the P2 Pro’s ultra-wide is the more useful listed option.

Battery and charging: larger listed capacity, same charging wattage
91mobiles lists a 6,000 mAh battery for the P3 Pro and 5,200 mAh for the P2 Pro; both are listed with 80 W wired charging. The larger P3 Pro capacity is a useful specification advantage, but it does not translate into a fixed number of hours for every user.
For a test-based reference, 91mobiles reports PCMark battery results of 15 hours 23 minutes for the P3 Pro and 10 hours 25 minutes for the P2 Pro on its comparison page accessed in 2026. Treat these as that source’s test results, not a prediction of everyday battery life; usage and test conditions matter.

Price difference: compare the same configuration and check the live listing
Price snapshots are not interchangeable with a current offer. 91mobiles displayed ₹17,999 for the P2 Pro and ₹20,999 for the P3 Pro on its comparison page accessed in 2026, which labels the listings with Flipkart. Smartprix displayed ₹17,999 for a P2 Pro 5G listing and ₹23,999 for a P3 Pro 12GB/256GB listing; Smartprix says its details were last updated August 31, 2026. These snapshots differ and do not establish a guaranteed current price, stock, or Amazon availability.
Before comparing the gap, match RAM and storage, then check the seller’s live price and whether bank or exchange offers are included. A lower displayed price for a different configuration is not a like-for-like saving. The P2 Pro launch-era prices reported by Cinco Días on September 13, 2024 are historical and should not be used as today’s selling prices: Cinco Días’ launch coverage.

The P2 Pro launched in September 2024, according to 91mobiles. The P3 Pro is the newer model, with comparison sources placing its release in February 2025; 91mobiles lists February 25, while Smartprix lists February 18. Using February 2025 avoids implying that the sources agree on an exact day.
The comparison lists Android 14 for P2 Pro and Android 15 for P3 Pro, with a stated support promise of two OS years and three security years for each. Those listed durations do not show how many updates either phone has received or when support will end; check the current regional software status if update timing is decisive.
