The realme NARZO 90x 5G and realme P4R 5G are closer on paper than their names suggest. Both use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 144Hz HD+ LCD and a 50MP rear camera. The differences that matter are battery capacity and charging power, which favour different buyers, along with storage standard and weight. The P4R lists the larger battery and the only 256GB option. The NARZO 90x lists faster charging, a lighter body and an 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage. Price can only decide the choice if you compare the same RAM and storage configuration, and the sources available for this comparison do not establish a matched price gap.
What the two phones share
Both models use the same processor and display class, so day-to-day performance and screen specifications are not what separate them. Each lists a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, an LCD panel at HD+ resolution (1570 × 720) with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a 50MP rear camera at f/1.8 and an 8MP front camera. Choosing between them is therefore a question of battery, charging, storage and weight.

Battery and charging
The two phones pull in opposite directions here, and neither is a clear winner until you know which matters more to you.

Battery capacity: P4R lists more
The P4R’s typical battery is 8000mAh, against 7000mAh for the NARZO 90x, roughly 14% more on paper. The rated figure follows the same pattern, at 7780mAh against 6820mAh. realme’s P4R product page uses the promotional phrase “8000mAh Titan Battery 45W Fast Charging”, which is manufacturer copy rather than an independent measurement. Listed capacity shows how much energy the battery can store; it does not show how long the phone will last in use, because screen time, network conditions and software behaviour all affect endurance. No independent battery-life test is established for either model here.
Charging: NARZO 90x lists higher wattage
The NARZO 90x is rated at 60W, against 45W for the P4R, a third more rated power. Wattage is a maximum rating. The time to a full charge depends on the phone’s charging curve and the charger you actually use, and no charge-time measurement is established for either phone in the sources reviewed. If you charge overnight, the difference may matter less than if you regularly top up in short sessions.

Storage and memory
The P4R lists UFS 2.2 storage, while the NARZO 90x lists eMMC 5.1. On the spec sheet, UFS 2.2 is the newer and faster-rated standard, and that is the one clear storage advantage for the P4R. No measured read or write speed is available for either phone, so treat this as a difference in listed storage technology rather than a performance result.

Confirm which configurations are sold in your city before deciding, since listed variants can differ by market.
Weight and build
The NARZO 90x is listed at about 212g, and the P4R at about 224g. The difference is about 12g. It is small, but it is the only physical-size difference in the listings, and buyers who carry the phone in one hand for long periods may notice it.

Price difference: what can and cannot be stated
A price comparison is only meaningful when both phones are priced at the same RAM and storage level, from the same seller, on the same date. The one retail figure available is ₹20,199 for a P4R listing on Amazon, as shown by 91mobiles on 7 October 2026. That page does not identify the variant, so the figure is a secondary retail snapshot rather than an official price. The same page displays other retailer and model prices, but these may not match variants, so they cannot be used to calculate a rupee difference. No matched-variant price for the NARZO 90x is established here.
To find the real gap, check the exact configuration of each phone on the same day. Record the price, the seller, and any bank or exchange offers. Price changes frequently, so a comparison made on one day may not hold the next.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the P4R if battery capacity is your priority, you want more storage (the 256GB option), or you prefer the faster-rated UFS 2.2 storage standard, and the 6GB + 128GB or 6GB + 256GB configuration is priced close to the NARZO 90x equivalent.
- Choose the NARZO 90x if you want faster rated charging, a lighter phone, or the 8GB RAM option, and you are comfortable with 128GB storage.
- Decide on price last. If the same RAM and storage configuration is priced nearly the same for both phones, the listed spec differences above should drive the choice. If one configuration is clearly cheaper, check whether that gap still holds across two or three sellers before buying.
