The realme NARZO 90 5G leads on more of realme’s published India specifications: a higher-resolution AMOLED screen, a lighter and thinner body, a 50MP front camera and a higher advertised wired charging wattage. The realme P4R 5G counters with a larger listed battery, a larger screen and a higher maximum refresh rate, but it uses an HD+ LCD panel. Both comparisons below use realme India’s specification pages as checked on 7 October 2026. They describe listed hardware, not measured performance, battery endurance or image quality.
Price is the weaker part of the comparison. The two starting prices in circulation are a launch figure and a dated marketplace snapshot, so they do not show a verified current saving. The price section explains how to compare the same storage tier before you decide.

Which phone fits which priority
- Pick the NARZO 90 5G if sharper text and detail on an AMOLED panel, a lighter handset, a higher-resolution front camera, a published IP69 claim and faster listed charging matter most.
- Pick the P4R 5G if a larger screen, a 144Hz maximum refresh rate and the larger listed battery matter most, and you accept an HD+ LCD panel and a heavier body.
Side-by-side specifications
The table uses the figures published on realme India’s specification pages for each model. “Typical” battery capacity and “up to” refresh rates are manufacturer figures, so read them as ratings rather than guarantees.

Display: AMOLED sharpness against a bigger, faster-refreshing LCD
The NARZO 90 5G’s 2372×1080 flexible AMOLED panel works out to 397 PPI on the listed specifications. The P4R 5G’s 1570×720 LCD is listed at 254 PPI on a larger screen. Pixel density is a better guide to sharpness than screen size alone, so the NARZO’s text and fine detail should look crisper on paper.

The P4R’s advantage is refresh rate. Its listed maximum of 144Hz is 24Hz above the NARZO’s 120Hz ceiling. Both figures are “up to” values, so the rate you see depends on the app, content and power settings. The listings do not say how often each phone runs at its maximum rate. The listings also do not compare brightness or contrast between the two panels, so the AMOLED-versus-LCD difference is a difference in panel type rather than a verified visual result.
Processor: listed chipsets without a performance ranking
The NARZO 90 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 MAX and the P4R 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. The naming difference is real, but no independent benchmark comparing the two chips in these phones has been published in the sources checked for this article. Treat the chipset names as identification, not a verdict on speed, gaming or multitasking.

Cameras: the hardware difference is limited to the listings
On rear optics, the NARZO 90 5G lists a 50MP wide camera plus a 2MP monochrome module. The P4R 5G lists a single 50MP wide camera. The sources do not describe what the 2MP monochrome module contributes to photos in practice, so an extra module on a spec sheet is not evidence of better results.

Battery and charging: more nominal capacity against faster listed charging
The P4R 5G has the larger typical battery at 8,000mAh, against 7,000mAh for the NARZO 90 5G. “Typical” is realme’s nominal figure for the battery, not a measured endurance result. The NARZO’s page also advertises battery lifespan claims, which realme presents as its own promotional statements.
On charging, the NARZO 90 5G’s product page advertises 60W, while the P4R 5G’s specification page lists 45W. Faster charging means a shorter time to a full charge at that wattage, provided the charger and cable match. The sources do not state whether a charger of either wattage is included in the box, so check the retail listing before assuming it.

Size, weight and build
The NARZO 90 5G is 158.36 × 75.19 × 7.79mm and weighs 181g. The P4R 5G is listed at about 166.4 × 78.2 × 8.8mm and about 224g. The difference is noticeable in a pocket and during one-handed use, and it is the clearest physical distinction in the published specifications. The P4R’s dimensions are approximate and may vary by configuration.

Memory and storage tiers
The NARZO 90 5G is listed in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations. The P4R 5G is listed in 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB and 6GB/256GB. The 6GB/128GB tier is the only one that appears on both lists, which makes it the right basis for any price comparison. An 8GB option exists only on the NARZO, and a 256GB option exists only on the P4R.
Price difference: what the two figures do and do not show
realme’s India newsroom gives the P4R 5G’s starting price as INR 16,999. This is the manufacturer’s announced figure, not a live checkout price, and the announcement does not establish which storage configuration it refers to.
Gadgets 360’s price page lists the NARZO 90 5G’s starting price as ₹16,988 as of 11 September 2026, with variant-specific prices on the same page. That is a marketplace snapshot taken almost four weeks before this article’s date, so it may have changed.

One figure is a launch announcement and the other is a dated retailer listing, and they may refer to different configurations. A meaningful comparison needs both phones at the same storage tier, priced on the same day.
How to compare the 6GB/128GB tier
- Open the realme India store and confirm the 6GB/128GB listing for both the NARZO 90 5G and the P4R 5G. Record the listed price for each.
- Check current prices for both models at the retailers you would actually buy from, and note the seller, the date and whether the phone is in stock.
- Include any bank, exchange or retailer offers in the comparison, and write down their conditions, because they can change the effective price more than the listed figure does.
- Compare the totals taken on the same day, and ignore the launch price and the older snapshot for the comparison.
- If you cannot confirm a 6GB/128GB price for both models on the same day, do not assume a saving. The honest result is that the current difference is unverified.
