The realme GT 7 was listed at ₹50,999 and the POCO F7 at ₹35,999 in a 91mobiles India listing snapshot accessed 7 October 2026, a displayed gap of ₹15,000. Whether the GT 7 is worth that premium depends on what you value. On paper it adds a dedicated 50MP 2x camera, 120W charging, a 32MP selfie camera and an IP69 rating. The POCO F7 is cheaper and, in the comparison listing, ships with more RAM. Neither phone wins on specifications alone, and the POCO’s battery figure differs by region, so check the exact variant before deciding.
What the ₹15,000 gap measures
The prices above are dynamic observed prices shown on a comparison site. They are not manufacturer launch prices and not guaranteed offers, and they can change within hours. The snapshot does not state which RAM and storage tier or which seller each price belongs to, so a gap between two different configurations would not be a like-for-like comparison.

Camera hardware
The GT 7 has the more varied rear setup on paper. The 50MP 2x camera is an extra lens that the POCO’s comparison listing does not show. These are hardware listings only. Sensor size, processing and real photos determine image quality, and this article has not compared sample images or controlled tests.
- realme GT 7: three rear cameras (50MP OIS main, 50MP 2x, 8MP ultrawide) and a 32MP front camera, per the realme India page.
- POCO F7: a 50MP Sony camera with OIS per Xiaomi Global, plus an 8MP ultrawide and no telephoto lens per the 91mobiles comparison. Its front camera is listed at 20MP in that comparison.
Battery and charging: resolve the POCO figure first
The two sources disagree on the POCO F7’s battery. Xiaomi Global lists 6500mAh as a typical value. The 91mobiles India comparison lists 7550mAh with the same 90W charging. This is most likely a regional or variant difference, but the sources do not establish which figure applies to the unit sold in your market, so do not average them or assume either one.

- 6.78 inches, LTPO AMOLED, 1B colors, 1264 x 2780 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 12GB RAM

- 162.4 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm (6.39 x 3.00 x 0.33 in)
- The GT 7 is listed at 7000mAh and 120W on the realme India page, a consistent figure across the sources reviewed.
- On paper, the GT 7 charges faster (120W against 90W). The sources do not report charge times or heat behavior under real use.
Display
Both phones are large 120Hz AMOLED-class screens. The POCO has the marginally larger diagonal (6.83 inches against 6.78). The GT 7 is described as an LTPO panel. LTPO panels are commonly used to vary refresh rates for power efficiency, but the sources do not show how either phone behaves in daily use. Peak brightness claims are marketing figures and are not independently measured here, so they should not decide the choice on their own.
Processor, memory and performance claims
The GT 7 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e and the POCO F7 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Chipset names and spec sheets do not show sustained gaming performance, thermal throttling or efficiency. The 91mobiles comparison lists Geekbench multi-core scores of 7,308 for the GT 7 and 6,660 for the POCO F7, but it gives no test date or method, so those numbers should not be treated as verified comparative results. The POCO’s 12GB RAM in the comparison snapshot is a real spec difference against the GT 7’s 8GB, though the RAM tier of each price is not confirmed.

Build and protection
realme advertises IP69 and Xiaomi advertises IP68. These are different tests. IP69 covers high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, while IP68 covers submersion under conditions the manufacturer defines. Both are manufacturer claims and neither should be read as a guarantee against damage.
Which phone fits which buyer
Lean toward the realme GT 7 if
- The extra 2x camera and the 32MP selfie camera matter more to you than a lower price.
- You want the faster 120W charging listed for the GT 7 and the 7000mAh battery figure, which is consistent across the sources reviewed.
- You can find a current price close to the displayed figure, or the GT 7 is available with a discount or bank offer that narrows the gap.
- The IP69 rating matters for your use.
Lean toward the POCO F7 if
- The lower displayed price is the deciding factor, and the 12GB RAM tier is available at a price you accept.
- You do not need a telephoto-style 2x camera, since the POCO’s comparison listing shows none.
- The larger diagonal (6.83 inches) matters to you.
- Your local POCO F7 variant is confirmed to have the battery and charging you want.
Checks before you buy
- Open live listings for both phones at the same RAM and storage tier, and note the seller for each price.
- Add any bank, exchange or coupon offers to each price and compare the final amounts.
- Confirm the exact model and regional variant. On most Android phones, Settings > About phone shows the model number once the phone is set up.
- Check the battery capacity and charging wattage in the regional product page or the box specifications for that model, not only in a comparison table.
- Check the warranty and service terms for your country before you pay.
Source note: specifications come from realme India’s GT 7 product page, Xiaomi Global’s POCO F7 product page and the 91mobiles India comparison. Prices are from the 91mobiles listing snapshot accessed 7 October 2026.
