Neither phone wins outright. The realme GT 7 has the larger battery and faster rated wired charging in the comparison tables we checked, and it is positioned around a MediaTek chip. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro has the larger, higher-refresh display and is the one described with a telephoto camera. Price is the least settled part of this comparison. The price sources disagree on which phone costs more, so no lasting price gap can be stated from them. Choose based on the features you use most, then check the price for the same storage variant in your own region on the day you buy.
Specs at a glance
The table below collects the figures that appear across comparison pages from 91mobiles, Beebom and Gadgets360, plus the review of the Nothing handset by TechRadar. Where a value is not given in those sources, the cell says so.

What the specs mean in use
Processor
The realme GT 7 is listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e and the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. A chip name tells you the platform, but not how a phone performs under load, how it manages heat, or how its software is tuned. None of the sources compared these chips in a controlled benchmark, so this article does not rank them. If processing speed is your main concern, look for independent benchmark and sustained-performance tests of the exact phone model you plan to buy.
Display
The Nothing has the larger panel, at 6.83 inches against 6.78 inches. The difference is small in hand, but it is the most consistent display advantage across the sources. The refresh rate also favours the Nothing in the comparison listings, at 144Hz against 120Hz. TechRadar’s reviewer describes the Nothing screen as large and bright, but that is a review impression rather than a measured brightness comparison. The GT 7’s LTPO panel can change its refresh rate dynamically, which is one reason its listed 120Hz figure should not be read as a fixed value. Panel details can differ between regional models, so confirm them on the official product page before deciding.

Battery and charging
The GT 7 has the advantage on paper, with 7000mAh and 120W against 5400mAh and 50W in the comparison tables. Those numbers describe capacity and rated charging input. They do not establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice.
TechRadar reports a different Nothing capacity of 5,080mAh in its review. It is the only source with that figure, so treat the 5400mAh tables and the 5,080mAh review value as an unresolved discrepancy and check the official specification for your region. TechRadar’s reviewer placed the Nothing battery in context in this passage:
“With a capacity of 5,080mAh, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is able to keep pace with huge flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which has a typical capacity of 5,000mAh – although it can’t quite beat the OnePlus 15 with its voluminous 7,300mAh battery.” — Alex Walker-Todd, TechRadar reviewer

One reviewer’s endurance test
In TechRadar’s review, the reviewer played video at maximum brightness over 2K streaming for six hours, and the battery fell to 56%. Extrapolating that rate gives roughly 13 hours 40 minutes of playback. This is one reviewer’s test on one unit under one set of conditions, not a controlled benchmark, and no equivalent test of the GT 7 appears in the sources, so it cannot be used to rank the two phones on endurance.
Cameras
The GT 7 is listed with a triple rear camera, but the sources do not give the lens types or focal lengths. The Nothing is the phone Beebom describes with a periscope or telephoto lens. Zoom capability is a feature that varies by market and model, so confirm the lens list for your version before you buy for zoom photography.
Storage and memory: match before you compare
The two phones are not sold in identical configurations across the sources. The GT 7 appears with 256GB and 512GB options in some tables. The Nothing appears with 128GB and 256GB options in some tables, and TechRadar gives 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. A price comparison is only meaningful when both phones have the same storage, and ideally the same memory, in the same country.

Price difference: why the snapshots disagree
The two price sources show opposite results. Each figure below is a single listing snapshot, and neither source states the storage variant behind its prices.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone fits your priorities
- Choose the realme GT 7 if battery capacity and fast wired charging matter most to you, and if the listed chip is a priority. Its advantages in these sources are capacity and rated charging power, not verified endurance or speed.
- Choose the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro if you want a larger screen with the higher listed refresh rate, or if telephoto zoom is important. Its advantages are display size and refresh rate, plus a camera described with a telephoto lens, which you should confirm for your market.
- Do not decide on price alone unless you have checked the same storage variant, seller and region for both phones on the same day.
If you have no strong preference, the battery figures are the clearest measurable gap in the available sources, while the display and camera differences depend more on your habits and on the regional model you can buy.

Checklist before you buy
- Open the official product page for your country and confirm the chip, display panel, refresh rate, battery capacity, charging wattage and camera lens list.
- Pick the same RAM and storage configuration on both phones before comparing prices.
- Check the price on the seller’s page on the day of purchase, and record the date and seller name.
- Compare warranty length and coverage for each seller, since they can differ by region and retailer.
- Check the software-update commitment published by each manufacturer for your model, because the sources do not state it.
- If a telephoto camera is the deciding feature, look for sample photos taken at the zoom levels you actually use before you buy.
