The Motorola Edge 60 Pro counters with a 3× optical telephoto camera, 15W wireless charging and, in the price snapshot we reviewed, a lower Amazon India listing. Neither phone is categorically better. The right pick depends on whether you put performance and battery first, or camera flexibility, wireless charging and price first.
The figures below are manufacturer specifications or claims, pulled from official India pages in 2026, plus listing prices and a benchmark reported by 91mobiles. Performance and gaming
realme names the Dimensity 9400e in the GT 7. Motorola names the Dimensity 8350 Extreme in the Edge 60 Pro, and on the chipset specification the GT 7 is the higher-tier part. In its comparison, 91mobiles reported a higher Geekbench multi-core score for the GT 7. That is a figure from one outlet’s test run, not a universal measure of gaming or everyday speed, and it does not describe sustained frame rates in any particular game.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.78 inches, LTPO AMOLED, 1B colors, 1264 x 2780 pixels
- 512GB Storage, 16GB RAM
- Android 15, Mediatek Dimensity 9400e (4 nm), Octa-core (1x3.4 GHz Cortex-X4 & 3x2.85 GHz Cortex-X4 & 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A720)
- Real Camera: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/1.56, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 50 MP, f/2.0, (telephoto), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, PDAF, 2x optical zoom, 8 MP, f/2.2, 16mm, 112˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, Front: 32 MP, f/2.5, 21mm (wide), 1/2.74", 0.8µm
- 162.4 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm (6.39 x 3.00 x 0.33 in)
For demanding apps and games, the GT 7 has the stronger specification. Expect a bigger gap in heavy workloads than in light daily use. Whether it shows up in your games depends on the title, its graphics settings and the thermal behaviour of each phone, none of which the specifications establish.
Battery life and charging
The GT 7 has the larger stated battery at 7,000mAh typical, against 6,000mAh for the Edge 60 Pro. Its 120W wired charging is also faster than the Edge 60 Pro’s 90W. Those are rated values and brand claims. They do not establish how long either phone lasts under your use, and we have no controlled screen-on-time results to offer.

- 162.4 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm (6.39 x 3.00 x 0.33 in)
The Edge 60 Pro has one charging feature the GT 7 materials do not show: 15W wireless charging. If you charge on a wireless pad or stand, that matters. If you only use a cable, the GT 7’s faster wired charging is the more useful difference.
Camera
Motorola’s official specification is the more complete of the two. It lists a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide and a 10MP telephoto with 3× optical zoom and optical image stabilisation. Optical zoom is the main reason to prefer the Edge 60 Pro if you shoot portraits or distant subjects often.

- 512GB Storage, 16GB RAM
- Android 16, Qualcomm SM8850-AC Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm), Octa-core (2x4.6 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix L + 6x3.62 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix M)

- 161.8 x 76.9 x 8.2 mm (6.37 x 3.03 x 0.32 in)
realme’s official GT 7 page highlights a triple rear-camera system and video modes but does not give lens-by-lens specifications in the material reviewed. Without comparable sample images or independent tests, we cannot rank the two phones on image quality. A lens list is not a photo verdict, so judge the camera on sample shots from both phones taken in the conditions you care about.
Display
Both phones use 120Hz panels. The GT 7 has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, according to realme. The Edge 60 Pro has a 6.7-inch 1.5K quad-curved pOLED panel, according to Motorola. Curved edges suit some hands and some people dislike them, so choose by feel. Motorola also states a peak-brightness figure on its specification page. Treat it as a manufacturer claim, not a measured result.

Software updates
Update promises are policy statements, not a record of what each phone has received. Motorola’s India specification lists three OS upgrades and four years of security maintenance. NDTV Profit reported that realme committed to four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the GT 7 at its May 2025 launch. On stated policy, the GT 7 promises more. Check each brand’s update page for the current rollout status on the exact model and region you plan to buy.
Price difference
In 91mobiles’ comparison, the GT 7 was listed at ₹50,999 and the Edge 60 Pro at ₹30,190 on Amazon India when the page was crawled, a gap of ₹20,809 in Motorola’s favour. That gap is a snapshot, not a fixed difference between the phones. It can change with promotions, exchange offers, retailer and configuration.
realme’s own India promotional page showed the GT 7 from ₹32,999 during a separate sale. That offer is temporary, so it cannot be used as a standard price. Compare the same RAM and storage variant on the same retailer, on the day you buy.
Quick Recap
Which one to buy
- Choose the realme GT 7 if you want the stronger chipset for heavy gaming and multitasking, the larger stated battery, faster wired charging and the longer stated OS-upgrade policy, and you can pay the higher listed price.
- Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you want optical 3× zoom and wireless charging, if you want to spend less at the listed prices, or if you prefer a curved display.
- Verify before buying: the exact storage and RAM variant, the live price on the retailer page, and the current software update status for that model.
