What makes the global GT 7 different?
Check the model name carefully: the global GT 7 and China’s GT7 are not the same configuration. GSMArena identifies the global version by its Dimensity 9400e chipset, 6.78-inch 120Hz display and 50MP 2x telephoto camera. The China model uses a Dimensity 9400+ and a different rear-camera arrangement. Regional configurations can still vary, so confirm the exact model and network bands on the listing for your country. How good are the GT 7’s battery and charging?
Battery capacity is the clearest reason to consider the phone. realme Philippines lists 7,000mAh typical capacity and 6,850mAh rated capacity, paired with 120W SUPERVOOC wired charging. A large capacity gives the phone a strong endurance foundation, but actual runtime depends on signal strength, brightness, workload, settings and other conditions. The figures alone do not establish a specific number of hours or days for every user.

Yes. The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel combines a 1264 × 2780 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it well suited to scrolling, video and games. Independent reviews describe it as a high-quality, vivid screen; Notebookcheck found it accurate but could not measure the advertised extreme brightness.

The 6,000-nit peak is a manufacturer lab figure, not sustained full-screen brightness. realme India describes its local peak-brightness test as conducted under 100,000 lux. The same official Philippines specification page lists 1,000 nits typical brightness and 1,600 nits HBM. How well does the camera system perform?
The global GT 7 has a stabilized 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide. That gives it useful range for standard and closer framing, and 91mobiles describes the rear cameras as reliable. The ultrawide is the clear compromise: the same review specifically lists its quality as a drawback. Buyers who often photograph broad landscapes, interiors or groups should weigh that limitation carefully.

The official Philippines specification page lists a 32MP selfie camera. Camera resolution alone does not establish image quality, and the independent review criticism in the available assessments is directed at the ultrawide rather than the main-and-telephoto pair.

The global model runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e. 91mobiles rated performance 8.4/10 and counted flagship-grade performance among the phone’s strengths. That is a positive editorial assessment for its segment, not a guarantee of identical results in every game or sustained workload; performance can depend on software, temperature and usage.

Notebookcheck also praised performance, while its review identified no wireless charging, USB 2.0 and the absence of 6GHz WLAN as limitations. What are the software and build tradeoffs?
The global launch configuration is listed with Android 15 and realme UI 6.0. 91mobiles flags numerous preinstalled apps and gives software its lowest category score, 7.5/10. If a clean, minimal software setup is a priority, expect to spend time reviewing and removing or disabling apps where the system permits.
Notebookcheck reports six years of updates, but that figure does not by itself specify the number of Android-version upgrades or establish identical terms in every market. Check the support schedule for the region and exact version you plan to buy.

For durability, GSMArena lists a 206g body measuring 8.3mm and an IP69 rating; 91mobiles also refers to IP68. realme India describes IP68/IP69 water-test conditions and warns that protection can decrease with wear. These ratings are not a promise that a phone is indestructible or safe to immerse in any situation.

- A high-capacity battery and fast wired charging.
- Strong performance paired with a vivid 120Hz display.
- A useful main-and-telephoto camera combination and do not depend on the ultrawide.
