The realme GT 7 Pro and Apple iPhone 18 Pro differ most in charging, camera hardware, software, and the markets covered by their published prices. realme lists a 120W charger and a 3x periscope telephoto camera; Apple lists a variable-aperture 48MP main camera and quotes up to 36 hours of video playback for eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro models. Neither set of specifications proves which phone performs better in everyday use.
What the published specifications show
The GT 7 Pro is an Android phone built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite. realme’s global specifications also list LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, an LTPO Eco² OLED Plus display, IP69 dust and water resistance, and 120W charging. Apple lists its A20 Pro chip for the iPhone 18 Pro, along with Apple’s N1 wireless chip and C2 cellular modem. These are manufacturer-listed features, not results from a comparable independent test.

Apple says the A20 Pro delivers up to 40% better sustained performance than the previous generation. That is Apple’s own generational claim, not a measured comparison against the GT 7 Pro. No independent head-to-head benchmark is established by the sources cited here.

The realme global model lists a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide. Apple describes the iPhone 18 Pro’s main camera as a 48MP Fusion camera with a variable aperture from ƒ/1.48 to ƒ/4, plus configurable camera controls.

On paper, the realme explicitly specifies a dedicated 3x periscope camera, while Apple highlights control over the main camera’s aperture. Megapixel counts and feature lists alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparable sample images and testing across conditions.
Battery capacity, charging, and endurance
Regional configuration matters for the GT 7 Pro’s battery. realme’s global product page gives a typical capacity of 6500mAh, while Gadgets360 reported 5800mAh for the India model and 6500mAh for the China model. Check the exact regional SKU rather than assuming the global figure applies everywhere.

realme advertises 120W wired charging. Gadgets360 reported realme’s claim that the India model can charge from 1% to 100% in 30 minutes; that is a manufacturer-reported figure, not an independent measurement. Apple does not provide a directly comparable charging-time figure in the cited announcement. Instead, it claims up to 36 hours of video playback for eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro models. Video playback claims and battery capacity are different measures, so they cannot establish an endurance winner on their own.

Price difference: compare the same market and storage
The available prices are not a like-for-like comparison. Apple’s announced U.S. starting price for iPhone 18 Pro is $1,199, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The cited realme prices are historical India launch prices from November 2024, not current quotes.

Because these figures come from different countries, dates, currencies, and retail contexts, they do not reveal which phone is cheaper today. To calculate a meaningful price difference, compare new units in the same country, on the same date, at the closest available storage tier, and account for taxes, seller type, promotions, and carrier offers.

The GT 7 Pro runs Android with realme’s software layer; the iPhone 18 Pro runs iOS. The better fit depends on the apps, services, and ecosystem a buyer prefers. The India launch report said the GT 7 Pro would receive three years of software updates and four years of security updates, but those terms should be confirmed with realme for the buyer’s market and current policy.

Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Consider the GT 7 Pro if Android, a specified 3x periscope camera, and very high advertised wired charging speed are priorities. Confirm local battery capacity, software-support terms, and the exact configuration before buying.
- Consider the iPhone 18 Pro if you prefer iOS and value Apple’s variable-aperture main-camera controls, its stated wireless and cellular components, or the Apple ecosystem.
- Do not choose based on a presumed performance or battery winner. The sourced specifications and manufacturer claims do not substitute for same-condition testing of sustained performance, battery life, camera output, or charging time.
