The realme C83 5G is the better-documented, lower-priced option in the available listings, while 91mobiles lists the realme 16x 5G with higher-resolution cameras and a slightly larger screen. The prices are not a reliable like-for-like comparison: 91mobiles showed different Amazon prices from the official realme India store’s C83 listing. Check the same RAM and storage tier at the retailer you plan to use before deciding.

How much more does the realme 16x 5G cost?
On the 91mobiles comparison page, the listed Amazon prices were ₹17,499 for the C83 5G and ₹22,599 for the 16x 5G—a ₹5,100 difference in favor of the C83 on those listings. But the official realme India Store separately showed ₹19,999 for the C83 4GB+64GB model. Since the listings do not establish matching memory configurations or a shared price date, the ₹5,100 figure is not a definitive like-for-like premium.

Where the listed specifications differ
Performance and storage
The official C83 listing names a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset and offers three memory configurations. The available official information for the 16x does not establish its chipset or memory options, so there is not enough evidence here to compare processing performance or storage value. A chipset name alone would not establish real-world speed without comparable testing.
Display
91mobiles lists a 6.7-inch LCD for the C83 and a 6.8-inch LCD for the 16x. The official C83 listing specifies a 144Hz refresh rate; no corresponding 16x refresh-rate figure is established here. The 0.1-inch listed size difference is modest, and the available specifications do not establish which screen is brighter or better calibrated.

Cameras
91mobiles lists a 50MP rear camera and 8MP front camera for the 16x, compared with 13MP rear and 5MP front figures for the C83. realme’s official C83 store also describes its camera as 13MP AI. These are resolution figures, not proof that the 16x takes better photos: sensor, lens, image processing and shooting conditions also affect results, and no comparative camera tests are established here.
Battery and durability
realme lists a 7000mAh battery for the C83. Its product page advertises IP64 dust and water resistance and 900-nit peak brightness, and publishes battery-use figures attributed to realme Lab with the qualification, “Data comes from realme Lab. Actual results may vary.” These are manufacturer claims, not independently verified results. Equivalent battery, charging and durability details for the 16x are not established in the available information.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the C83 5G if its 7000mAh battery, 144Hz display and listed memory options meet your needs, and its current price for your preferred configuration is lower.
- Consider the 16x 5G if the listed higher camera resolutions or slightly larger display matter to you—but confirm the exact variant and current seller listing, and do not use megapixels alone to predict photo quality.
- Hold off on a spec-led decision if chipset, charging speed, software support or a direct performance comparison is important. Comparable details for both phones are not established by the listings cited here.
