1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsOn paper, the TECNO POVA 8 5G offers the sharper display and higher-tier listed chipset, while the realme 16T 5G has a marginally larger screen and a higher-resolution selfie camera. Both are listed with an 8,000mAh battery, 45W charging and a 50MP main camera. There is no dependable price gap to quote: the available India comparison listing gives conflicting realme prices, so compare live prices for the same storage configuration before buying.

Display: TECNO is sharper; realme is slightly larger
The listed realme panel measures 6.81 inches diagonally, compared with 6.76 inches for TECNO. That is a small size difference. Resolution is the more substantial distinction: TECNO’s 1080 × 2344 panel has more pixels than the realme’s listed 720 × 1570 LCD, while both are listed at up to 144Hz. On specifications alone, TECNO should look sharper; refresh rate describes how often the screen can update, not how much detail it can show.
TECNO’s official Indonesian specification page confirms its screen size, resolution and supported refresh rates. The realme figures come from the third-party comparison page, rather than an official realme source in the cited material.

Performance: chipset names suggest an edge, not a full verdict
The comparison lists a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for the realme and a Dimensity 7100 for the TECNO; TECNO independently confirms the POVA chipset. This points to a specification advantage for TECNO, but a chipset label alone does not settle how a phone feels in games, multitasking or everyday use. Software, memory configuration and workload also matter.
91mobiles also lists benchmark results of 2,853 versus 2,007 in Geekbench multi-core and 757,391 versus 633,631 in AnTuTu, favoring TECNO. The page does not provide enough detail about test methodology or configurations to treat these figures as a controlled, like-for-like performance guarantee.

Cameras: compare real results, not megapixels alone
Both phones are listed with a 50MP main rear camera. TECNO’s official Indonesian page specifies autofocus; 91mobiles lists a 2MP monochrome secondary camera for the realme. Their listed front-camera resolutions are 16MP for realme and 13MP for TECNO, but resolution by itself cannot establish which phone takes better selfies or handles low light better.

That is a review observation about TECNO, not a direct comparison against a hands-on-tested realme 16T. The review also describes the POVA’s rear Active Matrix feature as displaying notifications, charging status, music waveforms and time, with customization options; TECNO’s Indonesian page refers to an Alive Matrix Display in its camera section.

Battery and charging: same listed capacity and wattage
Both phones are listed with an 8,000mAh battery and 45W charging. The charging labels differ—SuperVOOC for realme and Super Charge for TECNO—and the shared capacity and wattage do not establish equal charging times or real-world endurance.
Android Central’s reviewer reported getting two days of use from the POVA 8 5G. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a guaranteed runtime or a result directly comparable with the realme.

Software, configurations and regional availability
91mobiles lists Android 16 and Realme UI for the realme; TECNO’s official Indonesian specifications describe HiOS 16 based on Android 16. The comparison page also makes software-support claims, but the cited material does not include an official confirmation of the support duration, so treat any promised update period as unverified until confirmed by the manufacturer for your region.

TECNO Indonesia lists 128GB and 256GB ROM options alongside multiple extended-RAM configurations. Price difference: verify the live India price before deciding
The 91mobiles comparison page lists the TECNO at ₹29,999, but its realme price is inconsistent: ₹29,999 on the opened page and ₹27,999 in its search result. These are volatile India listings, not stable manufacturer-set prices, and the conflicting realme figures do not support a reliable price-gap calculation.
Before buying in India, check the current seller price for each phone using the same storage configuration, and compare seller, warranty and any offer conditions. Prices and configurations in India should not be assumed to apply in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia or other markets.
Quick Recap
Which phone makes more sense?
- Consider the TECNO POVA 8 5G if the listed Full HD+ resolution and Dimensity 7100 are priorities, or if you want its Active Matrix feature. Android Central’s review found everyday performance adequate but not flagship-level, and noted limitations in camera detail and versatility.
- Consider the realme 16T 5G if you prefer its slightly larger listed screen or the higher listed front-camera resolution. The cited material does not include an equivalent hands-on review of the realme, so those specifications alone do not establish better camera quality or overall experience.
- For either phone, make the decision only after confirming local availability, exact memory/storage variant and current price. The published specifications point to tradeoffs rather than a universal winner.
