Choose Samsung if resolution and panel type matter most: its listed 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED panel has substantially more pixels than realme’s 720 × 1570 LCD. The realme page lists a higher maximum refresh rate, 144 Hz versus Samsung’s 120 Hz. A higher refresh ceiling does not by itself establish smoother performance in every app, and resolution or panel specifications alone do not establish viewing quality.

How do their cameras compare?
Samsung lists a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP camera and a 2 MP camera, with OIS. realme lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera. That gives Samsung the more varied rear-camera specification and explicitly listed optical image stabilisation; it is not proof of better photos or video. No comparable independent image-quality test of these two exact phones is established by the cited sources.
For selfies, realme lists 16 MP and Samsung 12 MP. Megapixel count alone cannot determine image quality. Samsung also specifies 4K video recording at 30 fps on its India product page.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
realme’s Philippines page lists 8000 mAh typical capacity and 7780 mAh rated capacity; Samsung’s India page lists 6000 mAh typical and 5830 mAh rated minimum. These are manufacturer capacity figures, not comparable endurance-test results. Screen resolution, refresh settings, software and usage can all affect how long a phone lasts, so the capacity difference cannot establish which lasts longer in practice.
Both pages list 45 W charging, though realme calls its implementation SUPERVOOC. Samsung explicitly says its 45 W fast charger is sold separately. realme’s Philippines box list includes a charger, USB cable, SIM ejector and protective case, with a warning that contents may vary by market. Check the Indian realme box contents and the compatible charger’s availability before treating that list as applicable to a local purchase.

Storage, SIM and regional differences
The cited realme Philippines page lists 8 GB RAM with either 128 GB or 256 GB storage, UFS 2.2 and microSD support. It also lists dual nano-SIM support and no eSIM. Samsung’s linked India listing is specifically the 8 GB/128 GB model; it supports microSD cards up to 2 TB through a hybrid SIM slot, so using expandable storage may affect how the SIM tray is used.
These details should not be treated as a definitive India-versus-India configuration match: the official realme page consulted is for the Philippines, and regional variants can differ. Verify the local realme SKU, SIM features, memory and included accessories with the seller or manufacturer before purchase. The Samsung listing specifies 5G Sub-6 bands, but the cited realme regional page is not a basis for confirming Indian network-band compatibility.

Price difference in India
When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles’ comparison page displayed Amazon India references of ₹29,999 for the realme 16T 5G and ₹26,282 for the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G, making realme ₹3,717 higher in that snapshot. The page does not establish that these were equivalent storage variants or that either amount remains available. - Consider Samsung if you prioritise the listed FHD+ Super AMOLED resolution, OIS and a three-camera rear setup, or want to rely on an India-specific product listing for the configuration compared here.
- Consider realme if the higher listed 144 Hz refresh ceiling and larger stated battery capacity appeal to you, and you can verify that the Indian model matches the Philippines page’s specifications.
- Compare the exact offers if price or storage decides it: the available price snapshot is not guaranteed live pricing, and the listed configurations are not an assured match.
Neither specification sheet establishes which phone is faster in games, takes better photos, or lasts longer per charge. The cited pages provide components and manufacturer claims, not controlled comparative results.
