The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G is the stronger paper pick for a larger, faster-refreshing screen and the higher battery-test result reported by 91mobiles. The realme 16 stands out for its AMOLED panel, 50 MP front camera and 60 W charging. Both are listed with a 7,000 mAh battery and a 50 MP main camera; the better buy depends on your local price, exact configuration and priorities.

Which phone has the better display?
realme 16: AMOLED panel
The realme 16’s listed 6.57-inch Flexible AMOLED display runs at 120 Hz. Choose it if you prefer AMOLED’s panel characteristics over a larger screen or a higher refresh-rate figure. The listed specifications alone do not establish how the two screens compare in brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.

OnePlus lists a 6.72-inch LCD with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It offers more screen area and a higher stated refresh rate on paper, which may suit scrolling and supported games. That does not mean every app or game runs at 144 Hz, or that the LCD will look better than the realme’s AMOLED panel.

Camera: resolution is not the same as image quality
91mobiles lists a 50 MP main rear camera on each phone, so megapixels alone do not distinguish the primary camera. For selfies, the realme 16 is listed with a 50 MP front camera versus 8 MP on the OnePlus. That is a resolution advantage on paper, not proof of better photos: sensor, lens, processing, lighting and video capabilities also matter. Look for sample images and video from the exact regional models if camera quality is decisive.
Battery, charging and reported endurance
Both phones are listed with 7,000 mAh batteries. The comparison page reports 14 hours 38 minutes for the realme 16 and 17 hours 04 minutes for the OnePlus in PCMark battery testing. These are reported benchmark results, not a guarantee of everyday screen time; workload, settings, software and test conditions affect battery life.

The same page lists 60 W charging for realme and 45 W for OnePlus. Those figures indicate the listed charging wattage, not a verified charge time. Actual charging can depend on the supplied adapter, cable, regional package, temperature and phone use while charging.
Performance and storage
The comparison lists higher performance benchmark figures for the OnePlus, but those are third-party page values, not a controlled head-to-head test with a verified common methodology. Treat them as a directional comparison rather than a promise of faster performance in every task.

- 161.8 x 76.9 x 8.2 mm (6.37 x 3.03 x 0.32 in)
Both models are listed with 128 GB and 256 GB storage options. The comparison identifies UFS 2.2 for realme and UFS 3.1 for OnePlus; the latter is the newer listed storage standard. Before comparing prices, match both RAM and storage configurations, since the comparison’s headline summary uses 128 GB and a different configuration can change the value calculation.
Price difference: check live, like-for-like offers
When 91mobiles was accessed in 2026, its page displayed Amazon prices of ₹36,490 for the realme 16 and ₹28,999 for the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G. These are volatile third-party listing snapshots, not verified current checkout prices or a durable price gap. Check your local listings before buying and compare the same storage and RAM, seller, warranty and offer conditions.

OnePlus’s India product page describes the Nord CE 6 Lite’s launch positioning as the ₹20,000–₹25,000 segment, based on data as of 7 May 2026. That is a launch-market statement, not a current price quote. See OnePlus India’s product page for its qualifications.

Model names do not guarantee identical connectivity or package contents everywhere. realme’s global specifications page lists multiple network-band variants, notes that network function depends on carrier deployment and that NFC availability depends on region, and says in-box contents may vary. Check the exact model’s supported bands with your carrier, along with local NFC availability and whether a charger is included. The page lists a charger, cable, SIM ejector, protective case, quick guide and safety guide, subject to market variation: realme 16 global specifications.
91mobiles lists Android 16 for both phones, three years of OS updates for realme and two years for OnePlus, and four years of security updates for each. Update commitments can depend on regional policy; verify the promise on the relevant local manufacturer page before treating it as a buying advantage. OnePlus’s claim of “5 Years of Fast and Smooth” refers to maintaining system fluency for up to 60 months based on OnePlus Test Lab data. It is not a promise of five years of OS updates. OnePlus also says its numerical claims are theoretical or based on controlled tests, with real-world results varying by conditions and software.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G if the local like-for-like price works for you and you value a larger 144 Hz screen, UFS 3.1 storage, or the stronger reported comparison-page benchmark and PCMark results.
- Choose the realme 16 if you specifically want an AMOLED screen, a higher-resolution front camera on paper, or the faster listed charging wattage.
- Pause and compare local variants if price, network compatibility, bundled charger or software support will decide the purchase. Confirm those details for the exact market and configuration rather than relying on a generic comparison page.
OnePlus also says the Nord CE6 Lite was tested to MIL-STD-810H standards. That is a manufacturer statement, not an independently verified durability comparison against the realme 16.
