For buyers in India, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G stands out on paper with a 200MP main camera and a display rated up to 144Hz; the OPPO Reno16c 5G offers expandable storage. Both list a 7000mAh typical battery and 80W charging. OPPO publishes dated prices, but a current official realme India price could not be confirmed, so there is no reliable price difference to calculate.

OPPO Reno16c 5G
OPPO lists a 50MP 3.5× optical telephoto and an 8MP ultra-wide. The supplied official specification information does not establish a directly comparable main-camera figure for the Reno16c, so this comparison does not infer one.
Megapixel counts and lens descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos. No matched independent camera test is available here to support a quality ranking.

- The larger 6.9-inch display enhances productivity and media consumption, giving extra room for multitasking, side-by-side apps, and immersive viewing without feeling unwieldy in hand.
- Camera improvements focus on ultra-wide performance, capturing more detail at the edges of the frame and reducing distortion, making landscape shots, group photos, and architecture photography cleaner.
- Refined gesture controls and haptic feedback make interactions feel more precise, so scrolling, tapping, or switching between apps is smoother and more satisfying compared to previous Plus models.
- Audio enhancements optimize speaker output for spatial awareness, delivering clearer separation between instruments and voices in music, video playback, and FaceTime calls without relying on headphones.
- Durable yet lightweight materials balance heft and portability, with a subtly textured back and reinforced edges that improve grip while maintaining the premium appearance expected from the Plus series.
Display, performance and storage
Display
realme lists a 17.27 cm FHD+ AMOLED panel with refresh rates up to 144Hz. OPPO lists a 6.57-inch-class FHD+ AMOLED panel with adaptive refresh up to 120Hz. Those refresh-rate ceilings are product specifications; they do not alone prove that one phone feels smoother in every app or use case.

Expandable storage
OPPO lists memory-card expansion support, while realme lists it as unsupported. If you expect to keep a large offline media library or want the option to add storage later, this is a concrete difference to weigh against the built-in capacity you choose.
Battery and charging
Both manufacturers list a 7000mAh typical-capacity battery and 80W charging for these India models. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges under the same conditions; no matched battery-runtime or charging test is established here.

realme’s official India specification and product pages provide configurations but no dated India price. Without a current realme price for the same configuration and market, calculating a realme-versus-OPPO price gap would be misleading. Check current seller listings before buying, and compare the same RAM and storage tier.
Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Consider the realme on specifications if its 200MP main camera, stated 50MP telephoto with optical stabilization, or up-to-144Hz display matches your priorities. These specifications do not prove better photos or performance.
- Consider the OPPO on specifications if expandable storage matters more to you than the realme’s higher stated maximum refresh rate or its listed 200MP main camera.
- For either phone, the listed battery capacity and charging rate are the same, and both offer the same three RAM/storage configurations.
- For a value decision, compare live prices for the same configuration on the same date. OPPO’s published figures are dated; the realme India price needed to calculate a gap is not established here.
Check the exact India model before buying
Specifications and connectivity can vary by region. The comparison above uses the manufacturers’ India information; do not apply it automatically to an imported or differently marketed SKU. Confirm local network bands, NFC availability, warranty market and the exact model number with the seller before purchase. realme’s Europe specifications page is a regional listing and should not override its India specifications for an India purchase.
