Which display is better for you?
Choose the 15T for resolution and AMOLED
The 15T’s listed 1080 × 2372 FHD+ resolution is higher than the 16T’s 1570 × 720 HD+ resolution, and its AMOLED panel differs from the 16T’s LCD. That makes the 15T the more suitable pick if screen sharpness and AMOLED are your priorities.

Choose the 16T for size and refresh-rate ceiling
The 16T has a larger 6.81-inch display and supports up to 144Hz, compared with the 15T’s 6.57-inch, 120Hz panel. A higher refresh-rate ceiling can mean smoother motion where content and settings support it, but it does not make the 16T’s lower-resolution LCD categorically better. Consider the size, resolution and panel type together.
Camera specifications: similar main-camera resolution, different selfie resolution
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. The 15T pairs it with a 2MP depth camera, while the 16T lists a 2MP monochrome camera. The 15T’s listed 50MP front camera has a higher pixel count than the 16T’s 16MP front camera, which may matter if front-camera resolution is a priority. Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos; the figures here are specifications, not a controlled image-quality comparison.

Battery capacity and charging are different trade-offs
For the 16T, realme states 8,000mAh typical capacity and 7,780mAh rated capacity, with 45W SUPERVOOC charging. The 15T is listed by 91mobiles with a 7,000mAh battery and 60W charging. The 16T therefore has the higher stated capacity, while the 15T has the higher listed charging wattage. Those figures do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, which also depend on usage and other conditions.

Chipset names do not settle performance
The listed chipsets are MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max for the 15T and Dimensity 6300 for the 16T. The 15T is named with the higher chipset tier in these listings, but chipset names alone are not a measured comparison of speed, gaming performance or efficiency. No controlled, comparable benchmark results are used here, so choose between them based on the verified specifications and your priorities rather than assuming a performance gap.

Price difference in India: check the live offers and variant
On 7 October 2026, the 91mobiles comparison page displayed the realme 15T at ₹27,999 at Croma and the realme 16T 5G at ₹29,999 at Amazon—a ₹2,000 difference between those specific retailer listings. These were dynamic prices surfaced by a third-party comparison page, not guaranteed official MRPs. The cited snapshot does not establish that the prices were for like-for-like RAM and storage configurations. The official realme India store lists both models, but its accessible page text did not show prices. Check the seller, exact variant, stock, warranty terms and current checkout price before comparing.

Which one should you buy?
- Pick the realme 15T if you value an FHD+ AMOLED screen or want the higher listed front-camera resolution.
- Pick the realme 16T 5G if a larger display, a refresh-rate ceiling of up to 144Hz or higher stated battery capacity matters more to you than FHD+ resolution and AMOLED.
