The realme 15 Pro 5G emphasizes a 144 Hz display, a 7,000 mAh typical battery and 80 W charging; Samsung’s Galaxy M47 5G pairs a 120 Hz Super AMOLED display with a 6,000 mAh typical battery and a stated security-update end date of July 31, 2032. Neither phone is a proven overall winner from specifications alone, and a reliable current India price difference cannot be established from the conflicting comparison-page listings. Display: higher refresh rate or specified AMOLED panel?
realme lists a 144 Hz display, while Samsung specifies a Super AMOLED panel with up to 120 Hz refresh and 1080 × 2340 resolution. A higher refresh-rate figure can mean smoother motion in supported content, but it does not by itself establish better image quality, brightness, outdoor visibility or power efficiency. The listed figures are manufacturer specifications, not a controlled side-by-side display test.

Battery and charging: capacity is not endurance
realme’s stated typical battery capacity is 1,000 mAh greater than Samsung’s: 7,000 mAh versus 6,000 mAh. Those manufacturer capacity figures do not prove which phone lasts longer in everyday use; usage, settings, network conditions and testing method matter. No controlled head-to-head endurance result is established here.

That maximum requires the company’s 80 W charger and original cable, and real-world results can vary. A comparable Samsung charging figure is not stated in the reviewed specification extract, so the available information does not support a direct charging-speed comparison.

Performance: one processor is identified, but a benchmark winner is not
realme identifies the 15 Pro’s platform as Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The reviewed Samsung specification extract lists CPU speeds but does not identify the Galaxy M47 5G’s chipset name. Without confirming Samsung’s exact variant and consulting comparable performance tests, a chipset-led verdict or claim that one phone is faster would go beyond the available specifications.
Cameras: compare the listed hardware, not assumed photo quality
realme advertises a triple 50 MP camera system and 4K video recording at 60 fps. Samsung lists a 50 MP, 5 MP and 2 MP rear-camera arrangement, plus a 12 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and camera configurations alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video: image processing, sensor details, lenses and recording conditions also matter. No controlled comparative camera test is established here.

Software support: Samsung gives a specific date
Samsung’s India product page states that security updates continue through July 31, 2032. Treat that as the manufacturer’s stated end date, not a guarantee covering every market or future policy change. The reviewed realme product page does not provide a directly comparable support end date, so the available information is insufficient to declare which brand offers the longer overall support policy.

- Match the RAM and storage configuration for both phones; different variants can carry different prices.
- Check the seller, delivery location and any offer conditions on each live retailer listing.
- Compare the final checkout totals rather than a comparison page’s displayed list or offer price.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme 15 Pro 5G if its advertised 144 Hz display, larger stated battery capacity, 80 W charging or identified Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform best fits your priorities—and its verified price for your chosen configuration is acceptable.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G if you prefer the specified Super AMOLED display and want a manufacturer-stated security-update end date to weigh in your decision.
- Hold off on a performance, camera or battery-life winner if that is the deciding factor: the listed specifications do not replace same-condition tests, and the two reviewed sources do not establish such a comparison.
