The realme 15 Pro 5G has the stronger-looking hardware on paper for a large, high-refresh display, bigger battery and faster charging. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G offers a Super AMOLED screen, IP64-rated protection and a clearly stated long-term software-support commitment. For India buyers, available price figures are dated and do not establish a like-for-like current price gap, so check the exact RAM and storage variant before choosing.
This comparison uses realme’s Singapore specifications and Samsung’s 2026 product information, alongside dated India price listings. Regional specifications and prices can differ.

Choose the realme 15 Pro if its priorities match yours
- You want the larger, higher-resolution display and the higher stated maximum refresh rate. Both refresh rates are “up to” figures; they do not by themselves establish how smooth every app or game will feel.
- You value a larger stated battery capacity and faster rated charging. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not prove longer real-world runtime or a specific charging time.
- You want a 50 MP ultrawide alongside the 50 MP main camera, rather than the Samsung’s lower-resolution ultrawide plus a dedicated macro camera.
Choose the Galaxy A27 5G if its priorities match yours
- You prefer Samsung’s stated Super AMOLED display and IP64 water- and dust-resistance rating.
- You place weight on a published update commitment: Samsung specifies up to six Android OS/One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates from the initial global launch. “Up to” is the stated maximum; timing and availability can vary by model and market.
- You want to select among the listed 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB configurations, subject to what is sold in your market.

Display
The realme’s listed panel is 6.8 inches with 1280 × 2800 resolution and a refresh rate up to 144 Hz. Samsung lists a slightly smaller 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with refresh up to 120 Hz. The realme specification gives a higher resolution and maximum refresh figure; Samsung explicitly identifies its panel as Super AMOLED. Neither specification sheet establishes brightness in your conditions, color accuracy, visibility outdoors or the refresh rate used in every app.

Processor and memory
The Singapore realme specification names Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while Samsung names the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The model names and memory configurations are useful for identifying the hardware, but no comparable benchmark or independent performance test is established here. Do not treat the processor names alone as proof of a particular gaming frame rate or day-to-day speed.
Cameras
Both phones list a 50 MP main rear camera. Realme also lists a 50 MP ultrawide; Samsung lists a 5 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro camera, plus a 12 MP front camera. Samsung specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) for its 50 MP wide camera. Megapixel counts and camera features do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; no comparative camera test is available in the cited information.

Battery and charging
Realme lists a 7,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging; Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery and 25 W charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not measured endurance or charge-time results. Actual experience can depend on regional configuration, usage, network conditions, settings and charger. Realme’s Singapore box-contents list includes a power adapter; Samsung’s India buying information says the box includes a data cable but no travel adapter.
Software and durability
Samsung lists Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and a maximum of six OS/One UI upgrades plus six years of security updates from the initial global launch. The stated commitment is Samsung’s; it should not be read as a guarantee that every update arrives on the same date in every market. The cited realme specification does not establish an equivalent support promise, and it does not establish a direct software-support comparison. Samsung lists IP64 protection; the cited realme specification does not state a comparable rating.
Quick Recap
What to verify before buying
- Confirm the market and exact variant. Realme’s detailed specifications cited here are from Singapore, while the prices are India references; a regional model may differ.
- Compare the same RAM and storage tier, then check the seller’s current price, stock and eligible payment offers. Do not treat a launch price or dated listing as a live quote.
- Check what is included in the box in your market, especially whether a power adapter is supplied, and confirm charger compatibility if you need to buy one.
- Decide which published priorities matter most—display specification, camera layout, battery and charging ratings, IP64 rating or Samsung’s update commitment—rather than assuming specifications settle real-world performance.
