Price difference: what can be compared
The available vivo India shop listing showed ₹27,999 for the 6GB+128GB T5x, with a displayed MRP of ₹28,999. This is a price observation for that specific configuration; prices and stock can change. A current realme 15 5G price for a matching storage tier was not established, so it would be misleading to calculate a numeric gap or declare a cheaper phone.

Before comparing checkout totals, match RAM and storage, confirm both listings are for India-market models, and account for current discounts or bank offers. The vivo price observation is from the vivo India shop.
Display: realme lists a higher refresh rate
The realme 15 5G specification lists a 6.8-inch, 1280 × 2800 display with refresh rates up to 144Hz. The vivo T5x 5G lists a 6.76-inch, 2344 × 1080 LCD with up to 120Hz. So realme has the higher stated refresh rate and resolution, while vivo explicitly identifies its panel as LCD.
Both manufacturers publish brightness figures, but those figures use manufacturer-defined metrics that may not be directly comparable. A higher listed refresh rate or brightness number alone does not establish how a screen looks or performs in everyday use.
Battery and charging: capacity versus charging rate
vivo lists a 7200mAh battery, compared with realme’s 7000mAh typical capacity (6830mAh minimum). realme lists 80W charging, while vivo lists 44W. The specification advantage is therefore split: vivo states the larger capacity, and realme the faster charging rate.
Capacity and charging wattage do not by themselves establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice. vivo’s product page advertises figures for video playback, gaming, music, navigation and charging time, but labels results as variable; those are manufacturer claims rather than independent comparative tests. See vivo’s product page for its qualifications.
Cameras: different secondary-camera choices
realme lists a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP wide-angle camera. vivo lists a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. For video, realme specifies up to 4K at 30fps for both rear and front cameras; vivo’s page advertises 4K video from the front and rear.

The camera setups suggest different options on paper: a wide-angle camera on realme and a bokeh auxiliary camera on vivo. Sensor resolution and camera count do not prove which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparable testing.

Durability: vivo lists IP68 and IP69
vivo’s parameter page lists IP68 and IP69 ratings for the T5x 5G. The cited realme specification information does not establish an IP rating, which is not the same as evidence that the phone has no water or dust resistance. Check the exact regional model documentation before relying on any resistance claim.
An ingress rating is not a guarantee against damage in every exposure, and warranty coverage can have limitations. Treat the rating as a manufacturer specification, not permission to deliberately expose a phone to water.
Performance, software and carrying weight
The phones use different 4nm MediaTek chipsets: Dimensity 7300+ in realme and Dimensity 7400-Turbo in vivo. The cited specifications do not provide independent benchmark results, so chip names and listed clock information are insufficient to call a real-world speed winner—particularly for sustained gaming or demanding workloads.
realme lists realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, with 8GB or 12GB RAM options. vivo lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and configurations starting at 6GB RAM. Software version, configuration and availability can vary by market or purchase listing; verify the variant on sale before ordering. The published weights are approximately 187–189g for realme, depending on colour, and 219g for vivo.

- Consider the realme 15 5G if its listed 144Hz display, 80W charging, main-camera OIS, wide-angle camera, or lower stated weight matters most to you.
- Consider the vivo T5x 5G if its listed 7200mAh capacity or IP68/IP69 ratings better match your priorities, or if its current price for the configuration you want is more attractive.
- Compare like-for-like listings before deciding on value: match RAM and storage, then compare live prices and offers. The available price evidence does not establish which model is cheaper overall.
For gaming speed, camera quality, actual battery life and charging time, these specification pages cannot establish a winner; seek independent testing of the exact variants if those are deciding factors.
